The son of a couple working in The Boppleson, Su-Jin saw Lee-Hwan's golden heart at work day by day, seeing the true kindness and generosity to others he had himself as a child.

In Hoon's eyes, Lee-Hwan was the ideal candidate for Absolution.

-

Already a practicioner of Taekwondo himself, Lee-Hwan let it slip to Hoon that he had been studying TKD for years when the topic of kick flicks came up.

A Taekwondoer himself, Hoon couldn't help but have a bit of alaugh. Hoon scoffed, saying that Lee-Hwan had be taught something that was 'watered down from REAL martial arts for the masses'. Not one to take this sitting down, Lee-Hwan suggested that he and Hoon have a spar, which Hoon accepted knowing that he'd be able to show Lee-Hwan what REAL TKD looked like.

-

That weekend the two met and had their bout in a hidden alcove along the beach. And as you'd expect, Hoon swept the floor with Lee-Hwan without even landing a blow on the young man.

Performing a spinning whip kick, Hoon spun with enough force to blast Lee-Hwan with a cannon of air and sand, sending his friend to the ground in cover.

Lee-Hwan was amazed by Hoon's otherworldy power and Hoon knew it. Looking to Lee-Hwan, he spoke:

"This power...It's amazing, yeah? I've spent years training to get where I am today...And you, Jae...You have untapped potential...So, what do you say? Y'wanna learn REAL Taekwondo~?"

-

Jae jumped at Hoon's offer, and within months Jae was as skilled as Hoon was when he was the same age.

Jae even had his Piero-Ken spark up once he was deep into training beneath Hoon, making Hoon's assumption of Jae having untapped potential true!

But now it was time for a real test of his newfound Taekwondo skills: His first tournament, where he'll be going up against the pupil of a close friend of Hoon's.
