Profile

Appearance

Turma is rather tall but more or less anorectic being, who's crippled by her own, sickly mental health. She's got long, bony legs; long fur on neck (it's somewhat mane-like), tail and chest area; pointy ears and slender skull. She's also got one bad, unhealed wound on her throat, and because of it she can't breath properly; she sounds like Kayako from the Grudge when inhaling. The wound also tends to bleed and pile up blood and slime in her trachea, making her couch and gack from time to time. It also decreases Turmas durability quite a bit, making her physically weak and easy opponent in fights -- Turma's not to be underestimated though, for she can be damn relentless when needed.

Her colouration is very dark; base color is jet black, but she's got bloodred, blueish gray and blueish white markings here and there. Her eyes are pale blue, yet the right one has partial heterochromia.

Personality

Schizophrenia; the word which tells much about her personality. Turma's life drove her crazy, recklessly and cruelly, and these days she's quite much totally crippled by this disease. She's extremely delusional, she's lost her touch with reality, she hears things, she sees things, and thus her behaviour is unstable and erratic. She's not malevolent though, not purposefully, but she can potentially be dangerous due to her mental health being so poor it is.

Turma's got serious soft spot for pups -- in her own degree. She's not motherly, but feels devoted to protect young pups the best she can, and she hates to see their naive purity being dirtied and eventually killed. Toward adults, then, she's very unconcerned, and she's got no problem with killing when she's pushed far enough and she feels it's needed. Turma is immoral that way she can't feel remorse at all.

Past

The name "Turmatar", roughly translated, means Lady Misfortune or more literally Misfortuness, and that word does summary Turma's whole life rather nicely, for she seems to proceed from unfortunate accident to another. The first two years of her life were nice, but then she got thrown into an abyss; first she got involved with the wrong male, who left her as soon as he heard he had impregnated her, and then she lost their pups because she wasn't capable of caring for them all alone - a human killed them, slit their throats with a knife and also caused Turma to not only have that horrible wound in her throat but develop schizophrenia too - and then, when she left to find something better from somewhere else, she only managed to cross paths with one ruthless psychopath, Samuel. She was raped and forced to join one dark religion by him, and, what's more, she got pregnant for him; the pups quite much ate her up inside, her mental state got worse, and even though Samuel disappeared in the end, her life still didn't get any easier when the father of her previous pups appeared out of nowhere. Lost, almost drowned by her insanity, Turmatar clinged to Carciogule, who expressed how sorry he was for what he had done to Turma and their children, and managed to fall for him once again.

Only to learn that Carciogule had fallen in love with Turma's very own sister, Eiriol. At that point she basically fell apart, all the torment finally broke her beyond repair, and Turma ended up killing Eiriol in jealous rage. After that she never really got any better; no-one quite even knows is she alive anymore, or did she just wither away in the end.

Miscellaneous facts

  • Turma is created in fall of 2008.
  • One of my active characters, Weena, is strongly based on Turma; the differences between these two are quite minor.
  • Turma was meant to die in-game, but I couldn't do it. She had just become too important character for me that I didn't bear to actually kill her.
  • That's basically the reason I created Weena in the first place too.
