OVERVIEW
info regarding species, gender identity, genetic mutation

Genetic Abnormalities and Mutations: Mild heterochromia, piebald skin, severe hybridism ‣ mutt organism, incomplete organic structure ‣ missing limbs & parts of brain, body rejecting itself ‣ white blood cells attacking and destroying entire body slowly but surely deteriorating skin & bone structure & muscle & organs.

 PERSONALITY

WIP. tends to be more aggressive, has a considerable temper. naturally curious disposition. timid and shy when not in her element (ie. has no idea whats going on). because of missing portions of her brain she has difficulty/is unable to empathise with others.

APPEARANCE
As a hybrid, Quince's human genes are highly dominant, resulting in mostly humanoid phenotypes. However, because she has a tendancy to exhibit more animalistic behaviour, her expressions, posture, and overall disposition gives her a 'non human' look. Quince also has many very defined animal traits, such as the muscular and anatomical build of her legs and thighs. Even without her lower legs, Quince's mechincal prosthetics must be shaped like a ___ leg, otherwise she would be unable to support herself to stand and walk. Her skin is very thick and rough, almost resembling scales; and posses thick quills along the back of her head, neck, and upper back. 

Quince's body is very thin and scrawny, her most musclar area being her thighs and left shoulder, where the muscle is under constant strain from the heavy mechanical limbs. She has a rather slouchy, reserved posture, and often appears even smaller than she is, despite being only 4'8".

ABILITIES
Quince
-animalistic; acute senses of sound, smell, and sight despite her humanoid descent. She has a powerful set of jaws as well, as her teeth are designed to tear flesh from bone.
-mechiancal limbs; powerful punchs and kicks, fast. 

 Because her mechanical limbs lack nerve endings, she cannot feel anything from her synthetic limbs, and can as a result punch/kick as hard as she possibly can without suffering any physical reprocutions. In other words, if she gets a hold of you with her robot parts, she will be breaking bones. Sometimes she has difficulty judging how hard she is grabbing or pushing things.

HISTORY

-scientist's kid becomes friends (Aleksandr Everhart)
-names quince after her project/experiment name
-Aleks dies and Quince is lacking the part of her brain to comprehend death, she literally is incapable of understanding what has happened to her friend. She believes he is broken and needs fixing.
-when someone later explains to her that Aleks is gone for good, she takes on his name as her own in memory of him. though she still answers to Quince
-very curious about humans and human life
-really takes to it and becomes obsessed with human identity
-she appears rather androgynously because she is intersex, however she does identify as female. DO NOT MISGENDER HER THANK YOU!
-gets pretty good at mechanics, as she needed to be in order to maintain herself
-becomes a mechanic much later into story when trying to fit into the human world, owning a shop with Alesa (clothes to hide animalistic qualities, bandana around head to hide quills and ears, tied under chin. Goggles over bandana, baggy pants, huge steel toed work boots, big leather gloves)

Quince was born as an incomplete mutt of a hybrid. Having so many different species genes in her is what made her extremely unstable. Many parts of her were missing, legs, an arm, even part of her brain. The science organization (antags) took her in and made her whole, releasing her back out into the world to see if she could handle herself as a wild animal. Because her brain is not entirely organic, she struggles with the concept of organic life. Programming a realistic AI for a living creature proved difficult, best that could be done was very animalistic, predatory instincts. (alt:However animalistic instinct seemed to be intact, and project Quince was capable of handling herself.

Trivia
‣ Quince is rather musically inclined. Because of her difficulties with expressing and dealing with emotions, she often uses guitar as an outlet.
‣Can't read or write, and is rather emberassed of this. She learned how to talk from Aleksandr.
‣Despises being called a mutt..
‣ Has a big fat crush on Eloise. Her fasination with Eloise can almost be described as platonic, perhaps borderline romantic, as Quince doesn't desire sexual relations with her, and doesn't quite understand the feelings. Quince feels very close to Eloise and desires to be with her constantly, and enjoys the time she spends with her. Quince probably thinks Eloise is the litteral most beautiful creature she has ever seen.
