ORIGIN

Phil is a character I made with a couple of friends of mine based off of meme images we were assigned! I was assigned Philosoraptor.

OVERVIEW

Philip Chen is the passing "anchor" of the household, holding a steady job in Public Health Services and, off to the side, receives a great deal of income from his job as a furry artist that has gained sizable popularity in the community for his skill and amicable persona. Phil personally prefers drawing anthropomorphized reptiles and amphibians, making him a "scalie", and he is very passionate about said animals in general, knowing a great deal about them.

APPEARANCE

Phil appearance-wise is very modest, dressing in regular shirts and jeans with a belt, sans any sort of design. He does, however, wear lace up combat boots casually. He stands at an average height of 5'11" and is very well built, having been so adamant about getting out of the house and burning off all that anxious energy. It paid off well for him. He has short black hair that's often a bit unkempt with a part off to the right side of his head. His eyes are a deep brown and his skin is a light tan color with neutral undertones.

PERSONALITY

Philip can easily be described as neurotic, being the most wound up of the 5 despite seeming the most well-off to run the household, but in actuality, he suffers a great deal from generalized anxiety, and is doing everything he can to put up a somewhat cohesive front so as not to draw attention to himself too much. Phil, at the very core of his being, is an creator, and he takes his craft very seriously and he so desperately wishes to migrate to his side gig full time, but at the same time, his job as a health service manager is a safety net, because he knows he's gonna have to explain what he DOES if he becomes a full-time furry artist, and he doesn't want to go through the agonizing embarrassment of that. However, in spite of his being wound up 90% of the time, Phil is incredibly kind, positive, and giving, and genuinely loves his roomies, no matter how much they drive him up a wall.

ABILITIES

Incredibly high skill in visual arts, primarily digital painting, high abundance in physical strength, high agility, encyclopedic knowledge of reptiles, raptors, and amphibians, and adept at cooking, washing the dishes, and doing the laundry. Keeping the house fed and clean.
