  The sober-minded younger ward of Machioness Selenite is a mystery; no one has seen hide nor hair of him for years. He hasn't been reported missing or dead, but neither has he become a persona non grata (as others have). This strange mix of circumstances led to an initial flurry of gossip that has long since dried up for lack of information. The last anyone had seen of him was a decade ago, when he was a boy of ten, and a strange illness spread throughout The Carillon. Many of the staff became ill in their lungs and died within months, but luckily his adoptive mother and sibling managed to avoid it! Some speculated that the Kingdom's littlest Baron had become sick. If the rumors were to be believed, he was losing hair even before the outbreak. Unfortunately, none of his footmen live to tell tales, the court's rumor mill has a short attention span, and life goes on. Only the most persistent gossips and scholars worry about what happened to him now. Maybe he is the key to figuring out the cause and cure to that mysterious disease.
