  An unassuming noblewoman who has been in service to the Queen as a lady-in-waiting for decades. She... isn't very interesting. There aren't any juicy rumors about her in high society nor impressive accomplishments to her name. She's quiet, but not a shut-in. She attends every party, but who she talks to and the topics of discussion never warrant more than a passing glance. Scandal rolls off her back like water over a duck's wing. Perhaps she was put at the Queen's side to balance out some of Her Majesty's wilder qualities...? She frequently abandons gatherings to take walks in the royal gardens so courtiers speculate she has a hobby of flower viewing. She's also been known to play the Carillon- as expected, since she lives in one- and receives gifts of puzzle boxes with gratitude. 

  As Her Majesty's best friend and loyal confidant, she dislikes leaving her monarch's side. She delegates much of the day to day governance of her march to her loyal vassals, corresponding by letter, but will return to inspect ledgers and the well-being of her people with regularly. The only deviance from this regular routine were several unsuccessful political marriages in neighboring countries accepted at behest of the Crown. It's not that they didn't like her, but rather that they have a habit of dying... What a pity. At least the poor woman has the wards she raised to keep her company, but so far no heiress to her matrilineal house.
