Despite being a Starfisher, a subtype that originates from the oceans, Elinora was born in the freshwaters of the rivers and lakes that lead into the coastlines of her homeland.  The Dolion Family is a local staple in the economy by operating several fish farms that provide meat to the nearby hostels and tourist areas but for Elinora, fish was not in her blood.  From an early age, she sought a sweeter type of life, something that would give her more fulfillment.  She'd always been good at cooking but it still wasn't enough; after coming back from culinary college she discovered that there was a old apple orchard hidden within the area, just a few miles from where her childhood home stood.  How had she never known it was here, with how fragrant apple blossoms were?  Upon entering the rusted gates, she soon found out just how bad of condition this orchard was in; dilapidated and unmaintained trees, overgrown weeds and rotting fruit covered the obviously once well kept orchard.  It broke her heart to see something so loved fall into such disrepair...surely someone owned it at some point?

At that moment, she noticed a farmhouse sitting near the gates, also covered in vines, leaves and other debris.  A faint light could be seen within the filthy windows.  Someone...still lived here?  Hesitating ever so slightly, she walked up to the faded painted front door and knocked.  At first, silence...maybe she was mistaken?  Then, the door cracked opened with a tremendous creak, and she jumped at the lonely face peering back at her.  An elderly Stareater with a broken horn gazed back at her with milky eyes, his ancient face telling the lifestory of not only him but this orchard.  Elinora was speechless for awhile but finally was able to ask about the orchard.

It took many months and much persuasion power, but Elinora managed to gain the old Eater's trust.  The orchard was cleaned up, the trees put back on the right path and once they started producing proper fruit again, the old Eater began to teach her recipes.  It seemed that his wife had been a baker and her untimely passing had cause the downfall of the orchard.  A few years passed and one day while arriving as usual to greet the old Eater, Elinora came to find he had passed quietly in his sleep.  A letter was on the nightstand next to him, addressed to Elinora; the orchard was now hers to do with as she saw fit.
