About

Since childhood, Thanatos was seen as a prodigy among the tribe. He showed great strength and talent with a blade, and an even greater talent for outsmarting his opponents, both in training and skirmishes early on. It was no surprise when the tribe's leader called upon him to take a high position within the tribe, despite being younger than those of similar standing. Still, he aimed to make his mother proud, having never known his father, and thus made it his mission to serve the tribe to the best of his abilities. A high ranking warrior in a tribe that boasts its strength, it became whispered that where Thanatos went, Death always followed.

For a while, his job was all that mattered to him, and he thought of nothing else. That was, until, the Master's son and his childhood friend Zagreus began trying to escape the tribe they'd grown up in. His initial reaction was one borne of anger and a feeling of betrayal, though it left as quickly as it had come the first time he carried home the collapsed heir. Despite wanting Zagreus to stay within the tribe, Than often ventured out shortly after he'd left to make sure he always made it back safely, knowing he'd likely not get very far due to the illness that seemed to always thwart his attempts at escape.

Trivia/Artist's Notes

• Thanatos is quite tall, often standing around the height of alpha females.
• Though he would never admit it, he is very self consious about his mutation.
• When asked about his silky fur, he simply grumbles something about it getting in the way, or slowing his swings.
• Though it wasn't clear to him at first, Thanatos has found himself bonded to Zagreus.
