Early Life

Sterling would describe his childhood incredibly uneventful.
Though always challenged to do great things and pressured to perform well in school, Sterling believes he's never a difficult past. He never knew what he wanted to be when he grew up which made him very nervous about his future. He found that becoming a surgeon, while a very stressful job, would make him very successful. After completing medical school and performing his first successful surgery, he found a new love in helping people and saving lives. Unfortunately, Sterling was not always successful, and carried far too much guilt with every person he inadvertedly killed.

The Fool Loses His Damn License...

With the stress and the lack of sleep, Sterling found it more and more difficult to keep his cool during surgery.
This eventually led to his first case of malpractice.Sterling made a horrific mistake and tried desperately to cover it. He just barely missed jail time. The judges took one look at that sad little man and decided there was no way he'd survive time in prison. His license was simply revoked, and Sterling was devastated. This was the one and only thing that brought Sterling a purpose in life. He felt very successful, very empowered to have such an occupation. He tried taking up new jobs, minimum wage jobs. He found no joy in these and slowly slipped into grief and had had enough. Sterling had a new idea. Take up a cosmetology license, cheat the system, become a hairstylist... and continue the dream job you've always wanted to do. The one that made you so happy. Sterling would keep doing surgeries. Illegally.

Sterling now continues his surgeries in the back of his salon to those who are in need of these high risk surgeries.
Without the use of better equipment, Sterling ends up making even more mistakes. Every single person who's taken up this sort of black market surgery has found themselves in worse conditions than before or dead. Why does he keep doing it then? He knows how dangerous it is and he knows no one would survive these hacked up surgeries but he continues to keep people coming. Truth is, Sterling can't stand the thought of not having that one occupation that made him so happy. So much that his kindness has become complete selfishness as he kills off every single "patient" that comes to him. But it's all in good, kindheartedness right?
