Older sister of Eirik and adopted daughter of Val and Axel. Her long term partner is Mathilde. She and Eirik were born in a Gemstone facility but escaped when she was younger than ten and Eirik was only a toddler. Evy is a very independent gal who struck out on her own as soon as she could and almost immediately got herself in trouble. She met Mat while in a jail like facility for Gemstones and was able to escape and bring Mat with her by befriending and then betraying a guard. She holds a grudge against her parents for not helping her out of that situation and doesn't see them often.
She adores her younger brother Eirik and would do anything for him. Her attachment gets a little warped and controlling over the years though and strains their relationship.
Evelina is very proud of being a Gemstone and uses her magic to take revenge on any who she thinks deserves it. She hates men especially.
