*Note: Contracts with the tigers are beaded rosaries made of Tiger Eye gemstones and wood. The user applies their blood into the carving of the kanji, "tora [虎]", as a way of signing said contract. The rosary is known as "String of Tiger Eyes". Once signed, they can both summon their respective tiger(s), as well as a giant wooden orb known as simply the "Wooden Snarl Orb". The orb is extremely heavy and requires intense training to use it. Chakra is the only way move it as trying to pick it up is impossible. The user can make it levitate and launch it at high speeds towards a target to cause immense damage. The wood used to made the orb as well as parts of the rosary are from the trees of Raimei Jungle (homeland of tigers and one of the great unexplored sage regions). The material nearly indestructible and can only be cut/carved with specialized tools.  It's customary for the user to customize a carving into the orb and infuse their chakra with it, so that it may respond to their chakra alone. (Non tigers/humans will have the "虎" kanji carved onto their String of Tiger's Eyes, however tigers may have other symbols such as flowers, birds, fish, etc).

Senjutsu: Tiger Sage Mode

-Sage Art: Apex Pursue ("Tiger's Vengeance"); while in Sage Mode, the user can lock its attention solely on the target, with the user's stamina and physical abilities increasing even more than their base Sage Mode stats. There can be multiple targets and will always be activated even if the target escapes. Because this ability memorizes the target's scent, Chakra, among other physical features, they are able to sense if said target is within a certain range. Even when the user isn't in Sage Mode, once the target reenters range the user will automatically start acquiring Nature Chakra (it takes longer than it would with meditation, but meditation is not required to gather nature Chakra while Apex Pursue is in use), thus activating Sage Mode. Apex Pursue will always be activated until the user deactivates it.

-Special Ability: While in Sage Mode, the user's eyes will become tiger like, and will gain the ability of night vision (the eyes are able to pick up light better than typical human eyes). Their field of vision also increases.*

*Note: Due to his possession of the Byakugan, Taiga's Sage Mode eyes overlap with it. Meaning that when the Byakugan is activated while in Sage Mode he's only seeing how he would be while using the Dojutsu while not using any Nature Chakra, however Sage Mode eliminates the common blind spot which results in him having a perfect 360° field of vision as well as all other Byakugan abilities. When Byakugan is inactivated, the typical night vision and increased field of vision is prevalent. This it NOT a different version of Byakugan as they're two separate things. Taiga cannot see through objects or Chakra pathways/points. When not in Sage Mode, Byakugan returns to "normal".

Bio

Born to two members of the Hyūga Clan, Taiga unfortunately lost his mother shortly after he was born due to complications. Because of this, he was raised by his father who was absent as he was sent on missions frequently. And it was during one of these missions when his father had passed away, leaving the then 6 year old orphaned. Despite this, members of his clan stepped up and helped rear him and ensure that he was taken care of and provided for. They would cook meals for him, helped clean, and offered any monetary assistance that they could up until he was old enough to care for himself. 

It was a year later at the age of 7 when Taiga wandered too far away from the Leaf while upset after a particularly rough day at the Academy. While aimlessly wandering, he quite literally bumped into the haughty Torawara -- a servant of Empress Torahasu. Offended by the sudden contact, the hot-headed tiger took him to his Empress so that she may punish Taiga for "insulting" him. After hearing Taiga relay his home life to her, Torahasu felt sympathy for the child, and took him as her apprentice. When he wasn't training at the Academy or with his Clan to perfect his Byakugan and Gentle Fist Jutsu he was training in Raimei Jungle under the mentorship of Torahasu. This intense and exhausting training would last until he became a Chūnin at 11. Once a Chūnin, Torahasu began teaching him Sage Mode.

His performance as a Chūnin and personality caught the attention of ANBU Black Ops scouts and recruited him to join their division. Taiga was 13. At age 16 Taiga had finally mastered Sage Mode after 5 grueling years of training. With his newfound Senjutsu abilities, his notoriety within the ANBU had increased. He became a Jōnin not long after. He would continue to serve as a continuous member of the ANBU Black Ops until around age 19. He stepped away from being an ANBU for "personal" reasons, however he remains an active Jōnin and frequently completes missions of his rank as a Shinobi. Occasionally, he does pick up ANBU missions from time to time.

•Torahasu ended up unofficially "adopting" Taiga as her own son. Because of this, he affectionately calls her mother and he has 4 adopted siblings. His siblings are tigers and biological children of Torahasu

•Taiga has a soft spot for children and baby animals.

•Although he's not a lightweight, Taiga HATES the taste and effects of alcohol

•His favorite food is chashu fried rice. Royal blue is his favorite color. Cats and tigers are his favorite animals

•He has a cat named Kitty that looks like a small tiger 

•His hobby is cooking and he's quite good at it

•For AUs where Neji is alive, Neji was a mentor figure to Taiga

•He does not have a curse seal as of now, but will obtain one if Hanabi has a child and that child turns 3 years old 

•Taiga owns a locket with a picture of his parents on their wedding night. While the locket itself is old, stained, and in poor condition due, the picture's quality hasn't been compromised.
