Hydra Ostrega

Hydra was the last daughter born to  [b]Charon[/b] and [b]Amekaze[/b] in their first litter, though none would ever know for certain who was last to leave the womb between she and her mirror images, [b]Alya[/b] and [b]Lyra[/b]. There is one other sister among them born to this litter, [b][p=3418]Korei Julia[/p][/b][sup]D[/sup]. She has several younger siblings who she has helped rear: [b]Jarilo[/b], [b]Vela[/b], the late [b]Galaxy[/b], [b]Yami[/b][sup]D[/sup], [b]Yama[/b], [b]Arcturus[/b], and the late [b]Revui[/b]. Hydra has come to view [b]Towhee[/b] as a sister, and regards her as such. Hydra had always been the most dominant among her siblings, though she and her twins are equals among themselves. When she reached adulthood, Hydra established herself into Moonspear's hierarchy as her parents second even prior to being made their Beta, which she accomplished on her first birthday. Soon after, in her first month as a yearling, Hydra becomes a [b]Master Warrior[/b]. At two years old, during her first heat, she becomes mate to [b]Dirge[/b]; late into her second year, Hydra becomes Moonspear's Queen, and mother to [b]Antares[/b], [b]Atlas[/b], [b]Osiris[/b], and [b]Vega[/b]. Early into her third year, Hydra becomes a [b]Master Tracker[/b].

In her short life, Hydra has shown a proclivity toward violence alongside her twins, exhibiting a ruthless response to those who transgress against she and hers. One such incident earned her a [b][t=21133]notch on her ear[/t][/b], and so as to avoid being different from one another her sisters make the decision to [b][t=21339]remain completely identical[/t][/b], a pact that they will keep to their entire lives. [b][t=23055]Another incident[/t][/b] causes Hydra to [b][t=23656]participate in taking out[/t][/b] Blackfeather Woods alongside her sisters, a thing that is largely selfishly motivated by her own desire to be permanently rid of [b]Vaati[/b], who made an enemy of her when he attacked one of her friends, [b]Rannoch[/b], without cause.

Over the course of that same year, Hydra faces a betrayal from the very same man she had saved, but also one of her closest friends, who follows him, [b]Terance[/b]. It causes the heart of Hydra to harden, and her sense of trust in others who are not her family to reduce significantly. Hydra deigns to only interact with her family and pack. Later on within her second year, Hydra undergoes her first heat and finds a mate in Dirge. Breeding season causes chaos when her mother does not come into heat, but another unrelated female, [b]Speedy[/b], does; Hydra is prevented from stopping her heat by her father, who takes her away to protect her. That protection comes at a great cost, causing a rift within the tight-knit Ostrega clan. It is eventually revealed that Charon did breed with the other woman, and also revealed are his [b][t=34515]dreams which echo Hydra's own fresh ambitions[/t][/b] (albeit with some significant differences); however, ultimately, his desire to keep them was the [b][t=35095]end of both Amekaze and Charon[/t][/b]. The end of this era sees the beginning of a new one with Hydra as Queen. 

Just before her third year, Hydra gives birth to four cubs: [b]Antares[/b], [b]Atlas[/b], [b]Osiris[/b], and [b]Vega[/b]. She and her sisters act as their mothers, Hydra ever the head.

· Born the year 2016, year of the monkey. the typical personality and characteristics expected of one. Also aligning with several traits aligned with the women associated; has high standards and expectations both, and is one to never surrender. Confident, responsible, and strangely flexible so long as it aligns with her end-game.
· Starsign is Leo. Other birthday information that is strangely relevant from that same source to who Hydra is.
· Hydra was named after a beast with several heads that now and then emerged from its haunt to harass the populace and livestock. Much like her namesake, Hydra has always been prone to do the same (leaving Moonspear to hunt in the Glen/wider Wilderness territories... but especially the Glen)... but that is not at all because of the way in which she was named, and moreso due to the way she had been raised.

· Scars: Only one of note, the notch on her ear. Her twin sisters carry the same scar.
· Hydra has never been told of her maternal dams family phrase, though embodies it nonetheless due to her sire and dams way of handling things.  
· Hydra and her twin sisters are, collectively, known as The Cerberus. Where one is, the other is not often far. They are a protective and a possessive lot, and will kill when crossed.

· Unlike either of her parents, Hydra is a heretic. She believes in nothing, though respects the power of nature and the natural order of things. When it suits her, Hydra thinks that, due to (and also like) her father, she is favored by the stars. But she is a godless woman.
· Hydra has an affinity toward bones, namely skulls, and will collect the latter. Antlers and horns are also of interest to her, but she will only collect the most impressive of her finds there. Her collection is far from pristine and scored with her teeth-marks.
· Deeper look into personality: Shaped by her experiences, Hydra is less inclined to engage with strangers unless she has reason to. These reasons are aligned with her present motivations, for the most part, some well-intentioned and others... not so much. Like her parents before her she is a perfectionist, and like her mother Hydra is more a realist and so will set goals only if she perceives them as able to be accomplished. Hydra is known to be a severe woman, harsh and critical. She is incredibly thoughtful, and like her mother she is inclined to think things over for long periods of time. Clever and resourceful, incredibly tenacious and stubborn when she sets her mind to something. Hydra has no tolerance whatsoever for those that are dishonest with her in any capacity. An incredibly proud woman, though arrogance has never gotten in her way before. Exceptionally selfish, though her motivations are, for the most part, for the survival of her close kith and kin.
