Sebastian "Bass" Larsen

human au of Bass, includes highschool and onward though im mostly describing the adult version( abt ~26yrs). 

• Has a daughter he is raising alone. Her name is Billie.
• A 2-meter tall fit guy with a generally quite aloof and bland personality, though a lot of that is a deliberate presentation. Very reclusive.  
• Very severely antisocial(diagnosed PD), falls into a weird niche inbetween the definitions of psychopath and sociopath.
  • Some fun traits of that include a complete inability to experience fear; consequently having no fear of death; doesn't experience addiction, cravings or withdrawals; having weird side-effects even when using cough medicine because of his brain chemistry; having a very flat emotional response and neutral state that other people find actively offputting.  The possibility of remorse and anything but the most shallow relationships is questionable, but not to be completely ruled out.
• Despite that, just a dude trying his best. He's had 10 years' worth of therapy to learn what empathy is.
• Owns a flower stand, which is his full-time job.
• Almost always wears long sleeves. Often styles his hair over his face.
• Has a basset hound named Slipknot whos in training to be a service dog. 
• Has 2 roommates with similar delinquent pasts, but much cheerier dispositions. Somewhat friends with Lizbeth whos a fellow rocker and metalhead.
  • Thinks listening to swedish death metal with said roommate counts as reconnecting with his culture.
• A Childhood brain injury left the right side of his face slightly paralyzed, most evident in his completely slack eye. Eyebrow may occasionally twitch, mouth is more animated, appears crooked mostly only when making extreme facial expressions.
• Talks very slowly and enunciated to hide a natural slur n stammer he has to his speech.

• For hs/college-age.....just imagine him being insufferably horny and way more confident than someone as ugly as he has any right to be. Very aggressive, kinda still thinks he's got the world figured out. More in your face, and having fun with it. 
• Part of the severe change in him post-college is from some medical side effects that end up lowering his libido, and surprisingly he discovers that also eliminates a lot of his more violent, homicidal ideations.  So he's like,,, more capable of forming coherent thoughts and being objective.

 Brief Backstory: Following an incident in which Bass received serious head trauma as a toddler, he became a very violent child. His already difficult family life did not help his development, as his father had debilitating Parkinsons while his mother was an at times violent alcoholic. His older brother even eventually ran away from home. 

Even after being taken away by child services he still suffered a lot of abuse from his caretakers. His own pathology and this endured abuse culminated in him nearly being convicted of a murder at 14. While he escaped the sentence, he still spent several years in juvie for his behavior during the court and his arrest. ( while his name was changed to protect his identity because he was a minor at the time, because of his very distinct look, sometimes people might still recognize him, especially if theyre true crime fans, as Bass’ case got pretty public. Some believe hes guilty and cops got the wrong guy)

It was after this that he finally got the treatment he desperately required and started the grueling process of healing. It has been a long battle, and it’s only years later, now, that he has become a different person. A better person. Now he struggles with forging a new identity as a fully grown adult.
