Personality: Charlie is a creative soul, her spirit bolstered by her fathers' almost constant encouragement. She's also very energetic, able to run circles around Vale until he's practically tripping over his own feet trying to keep up. Her emotions are very big, and this can sometimes lead to high days and low days. High days are the most common, filled with Charlie painting to her hearts content and playing video games late into the night. But, low days aren't unheard of. Sometimes she'll sulk around the house, barely even able to drag herself out of the bed. Others she'll growl and yell and bare her teeth, angry that she'll never know her real parents and convinced that she must have done something wrong to have made them abandon her. On days like these, Vale and his partner settle down with movies and Charlie's favorite foods and convince her that no, there's nothing wrong with her, she is loved and she will always be loved. No matter what. And though sometimes it takes longer than others, Charlie is always back to her happy self because of her fathers' love.

Abilities: As she's only a child, Charlie has yet to show any true magical prowess, that is, if she even has magic at all. While magic is quite common on their planet, not having magic isn't exactly uncommon either. Whatever the outcome is, that doesn't mean that her fathers will love her any less. Her constant energy is enough for them as it!

Backstory: Charlie was left at the doorstep of an orphanage when she was practically a newborn. The orderlies tried desperately to search for her birth parents, but to no avail. They were left to care for the newborn hybrid. As she grew older, Charlie realized that the other kids didn't like playing with her too much. Her teeth were sharp and menacing. She didn't know how to control her own strength. She could be loud and abrasive, not taking "no" for an answer. At such a young age, Charlie didn't know what she was doing wrong, but knew that there had to be something. And yet, no one would ever tell her what it was! Brooding over her supposed inability to get along with others, Charlie started hanging out with them less and less.

That was, until Vale showed up. Vale is the sort who's dealt with runaways and those who'd given up hope long ago. He saw that same look in Charlie's eyes, and it broke his heart to see that this creature had been outcasted at such a young age. So, Vale knew he had to put a stop to it. He started visiting Charlie, when the young hybrid was up to it. He never flinched away from her smile, or winced when she played too roughly. He dazzled her with his ice magic, and let her chase around his tail. Slowly but surely, Charlie was becoming happier. Eventually, Vale and his partner adopted her into their home, and they've been a happy family since.

Family: Vale and Azul, of course! They're Charlie's dads, and she wouldn't trade them in for the world, even if they embarrass her sometimes. Charlie doesn't know her biological parents, and most likely never will, but she's okay with that. She's much rather be with people that actually wanted her, rather than those that gave her away the first chance they got.

Relationships (The Facility):

Vale: Charlie's papa! Vale taught Charlie that she wasn't a monster in the making, showing her how to control her strength. He showed her that there were more to wolves and tigers than their claws and fangs, that she didn't have to live life feared by others. He's always coming up with new things to teach her, and Charlie finds the things her papa tells her fascinating. She loves doing arts and crafts with her papa, since he always lets her be as creative as she wants! His ice magic is super cool, and Charlie is constantly asking him to show off his powers. He lets her chase his tail like its a cat toy, and Charlie is always sure not to hurt him. Her papa is always taking her out to do fun things, and helping her with school when she needs it. Vale is the nicest person in the world, and Charlie is so happy to be his daughter.

Azul: Charlie's father! Charlie may have met him after she met Vale, but that doesn't mean she loves him any less! Father is strong and encouraging, and he can fit 20 chicken nuggets in his mouth. He can toss Charlie in the air, and always catch her! Father may not be as creative as papa is, but he has a lot more energy than Vale does, able to lightly roughhouse with Charlie without ever getting tired. He also helps out with school stuff like plays and bake sales! Sometimes it's embarrassing having him there all the time, but Charlie knows that Azul is only helping out at school because he loves her. 

Jupiter: The nice man that owns the candy store not too far away! He can glow in the dark and is always letting kids draw on his tail, which Charlie finds super cool. Jupiter (or as Charlie calls him, Mr. Lava Lamp) actually knows Vale from school, and they did some catching-up one day while Charlie was getting her favorite candy! After that, Charlie was allowed to go over to the candy store more often-- Jupiter even gives her extra candy! Sometimes he'll tell Charlie stories about fantastical worlds made of sugar and sweets. Charlie always asks if there's ever a chance that these world could be real, even if they were in a different solar system. Jupiter always winks and tells her that anything is possible; even the most outlandish tales might be true somewhere else.
