Suddenly inherited one of two legendary powers out of the blue one day, its considered fate and hes 'destined' to be overcome by the 'evil' power and lose control of it, his childhood best friend ended up with the 'good' power and becomes kind of like a hero while taro goes off to hide away in the mountains to fight to keep his power under control, is determined to force the power under control with his sheer force of will, the hero checks on his sometimes to see if hes 'still there', is determined to make something good out of this overwhelming power, the heros power slowly starts to fade and they cant protect everyone anymore
