Teery is from a far away future where different alien species have come into contact with each other. They live on a planet that has become a hub for different alien cultures to interact and come together. There is only a small amount of humans that live on their planet, and Terry is really into learning about old human culture. Terry has an adoptive mother who is a different alien specices so they are also very interested in their mom's culture.

They were studying to be a lawyer, but got depressed three years in and dropped out. Terry is very booksmart, but is very bad at interacting with others.
