Drizzlebright

They say there's a fine line between being blunt and being a bitch and Drizzlebright shamelessly straddles that line. She hides behind a veil of bluntness and honesty to express her frustration at being rejected by her father - the one person she felt she could relate to - and having to spend a lot of time tending to her injured half-sister. While she does her best not to take her frustration out on Pearpounce, the rest of the Colony is not so lucky and they know to give her a wide berth. 

Not exactly something you should do with a Colony's future Surgeon. Petalbreeze sees something in Drizzlebright that not many do: the desire to do well and get on with things, regardless of whatever life deals you. Drizzlebright doesn't really think it's anything special. She just feels that the swamplands will swallow her and her Colony up if she doesn't put on a tough front.

FATHER:  Rainshadow - She is the closest to her father in personality, so naturally is more curious about him than the rest of her siblings. Her attempts to catch his attention often end in disaster, however, causing her to grow only more cold and distant as the seasons roll by.

MOTHER:  Pearbear- Often resists her mother's attempt to "bond" with her. It doesn't help that Drizzlebright is the exact opposite of her mother: antisocial and generally quiet and into her own company. Personality clashes are pretty frequent.

SIBLINGS:  Dandelionstripe - Her littermate and one of the very few cats she will open up to. Dandelionstripe is more realistic about Rainshadow's interest in them and often tries to protect her sister from disappointment where their father is concerned. 

Nettlenose - Frequently sees her at Gatherings and respects her as a fellow medicine cat apprentice. Drizzlebright expresses concern that her half-sister is not social enough for the Surgeon role however. 

Showerspike - Her littermate and arch enemy. Deems Showerspike to be an entitled and nasty little sneak and is always happy to go out of her way to respond to his taunts with a few choice words, despite the discouragement of her sisters. 

Pearpounce - Like most of the Colony, is stunned and sympathetic after she suffers her injury. It's one of the few times that she expresses an emotion that isn't dripping with sarcasm and spitefulness. 

Tansymoon - The fact that Dandelionstripe likes her makes her one of the few cats that Drizzlebright isn't openly sarcastic and cold towards.

MENTOR: Petalbreeze - Has a precarious relationship with her mentor, who wishes she could approach her duties with more sensitivity. Drizzlebright does not see the point in lying and being dishonest with those who annoy her, even if they are sick.
