Like most children his age, Ryan is a simple-minded individual who simply spends his days looking to have fun and live his days as happily as he can. Having come from a large, social family, he became accustomed to meeting new people and thus was one of the more outgoing kids in his preschool class. Ryan has little difficulty inviting others to come play with him, but he also has a problem of assuming that everyone is willing to show him the same courtesy, sometimes resulting in him becoming unwanted company. His underdeveloped social skills are unable to detect these signals, though, and he assumes that he is well-liked by the majority of his classmates. For the most part, however, Ryan is a very polite kid, always remembering to mind his manners and having a willingness to share with his peers or lend a helping hand when it is needed.
Ryan is a fairly sharp kid for his age. He has little difficulty when it comes to academics and loves to ask questions when he is unsure about something. There have been a few adults that have considered him to be mature for his age. (Granted, many of them were family members that were always willing to boost his ego.) Some truth lies in this statement, however, as Ryan often likes to take leadership roles in his classroom. He has a strong moral compass and is quick to speak up against anyone that seems to be acting unjustly. This causes some kids to not enjoy having him nearby, as he appears to be somewhat of a killjoy and a snitch, but he has only the best of intentions when he calls out wrongdoers. Despite his sometimes bossy attitude, his strong sense of morality does make him a very trustworthy and dependable friend to those he's particularly close to. |

Ryan came from a very loving and warm household. He was born to a Filipino mother and father, both of which were successful workers in the medical field. Being an only child meant that Ryan was showered endlessly with affection and love from his parents. This allowed Ryan to grow up with a strong sense of trust in those around him and made him open to meeting others he encountered in his daily life as well. His extroverted personality was a godsend at family reunions, which were frequent and boisterous. These gatherings were never without loud karaoke blasting through the speakers and hoards of cousins running amok through the gossiping adults. It was through these parties that Ryan discovered his love for singing and he proudly performed songs at the requests of his family members.

| Alia | Friend Alia is someone that Ryan considers a friend and he isn't opposed to playing alongside her, though he does have a problem with her pushiness towards his other classmates. Whenever he sees her stealing another kid's food, he can't help but to speak up and point her out to the teacher. Sometimes she cries and gets upset at him, but they usually get over it rather quickly and are back to playing nicely with each other shortly after. Due to them both being somewhat bossy, they sometimes butt heads during playtime as well. Overall, however, Ryan doesn't mind her company and is always willing to share his snacks with her as long as she asks politely. |

Jisoo | Friend Ryan enjoys playing with a Jisoo a lot because she is one of the few kids that enjoys playing outside just as much as he does! She sometimes amazes Ryan with her bravery when it comes to catching bugs; she's willing to approach some that make even him squeamish. While she can seem scary and strange to others for her interests, Ryan really enjoys playing with her because, despite everything, she's extremely friendly and knows how to have a good time. He sometimes tries to encourage others to look at the cool bugs they've collected together, but usually to no avail. |
| Chun | Friend Ryan enjoys Chun's company and enthusiasm for Mulan. He's always impressed by Chun's fighting skills and will sometimes ask him to teach Chun how to do certain moves so that he can look cool like him. Sometimes Chun is very loud and aggressive, which Ryan sometimes tries to correct by himself or at the very least make the teacher aware of Chun's behavior. Despite Chun's rowdiness, he's someone that Ryan views as very strong and fun to play with. His favorite thing to do with Chun is reenact scenes from Mulan while singing songs from the film at the top of his lungs. |

| Jiwoo | Friend Jiwoo is always very friendly to everyone, which Ryan really appreciates. He finds himself getting along very easily with Jiwoo since he never does anything to warrant being tattled on. In some cases, Ryan actually finds himself having to protect Jiwoo from the likes of Alia to make sure that he doesn't allow himself to be walked all over. Ryan considers Jiwoo to be one of the nicest people he knows and will sometimes go out of his way to do extra things for him such as share his snacks or let Jiwoo borrow his favorite toy for a day. |

| Mai | Friend Mai seems like a very fun and friendly person to Ryan. He enjoys her enthusiasm for Minky Mouse but isn't quite as understanding when it comes to her obsession with meat buns. Being the son of two hospital workers, it was only natural for Ryan to become concerned about her eating habits. He warns her as often as he can that she's going to gain weight if she keeps eating too much. Meat buns aside, Ryan finds Mai's quirky personality to be endearing and finds it easy to talk and play with her. He also appreciates how much she supports his singing. |
