Pineheart

Pineheart is crudely nicknamed Whineheart by the other warriors and it's very little wonder. This is a Ranger with a complete lack of fire in his belly. There's suspicion that he's actually a human pet that Autumnleap blackmailed into joining the Colony and becoming her mate. Henpecked doesn't even begin to describe this poor guy, he has very little say in how his children are raised and his mate has very little regard for his feelings, whereas he is expected to make her and her feelings his entire world. 

His only sources of solace is his sensible, sweet daughter Lilybright, and Brierwish, who secretly implores him to leave Autumnleap and become her mate instead. Her faith in him gives him the much needed confidence boost he needs and he leaves Autumnleap when she rejects Lady Skyshine's leadership and leaves the Colony, quickly taking up Brierwish on her offer and becoming one of Petalbreeze's Surgeons. 

MATE: Brierwish - Has a close, caring bond with his current mate. The two are Surgeons together under Petalbreeze.

Autumnleap (former) - Is her doormat and will do or say anything that makes her happy. Many in the Colony suspect it is because Autumnleap has dirt on him.

OFFSPRING: Thunderstep - Like his mother, Pineheart allows his son to walk all over him. Good for Thunderstep, but awful for the rest of the Colony who have to deal with his antics due to a lack of good parenting. 

Lilybright - As the only grounded member of her family, Pineheart finds solace in her and her maturity. While Lilybright wishes her dad would be an adult for a change and do something about her rapidly disintegrating home life, she feels compassion for him and looks out for him nonetheless. 

MENTOR: Petalbreeze - A timid, shy cat like him could not have asked for a more understanding and patient mentor.
