Design Notes
- patterns and iridophores should be as close to the reference as possible
- iridophores can be any sort of rainbow gradient
- tail pattern is pretty much the same on both sides of the tail
- iridophores can be done on a separate layer set to 'screen', 'hard light', 'add' or similar and adjusted to around 20%-30% (whatever looks best)
- they have 3 gills on each side of their head
- they have four digits on their hands, and three on their feet (the feet can be drawn as paws or axolotl-style feet)
- they have short-ish legs in feral form; not like those of a canine or feline but also not as short as a corgi
Clothing Notes
you may find clothing examples under the reference tab
➳ outfit colours usually consist of black, grey and white
[ usually with a single accent colour such as mint or baby blue ]
➳ likes to pair turtlenecks and plaid shirts with hoodies
[ turtlenecks worn under, or unbuttoned shirts worn over, please do not do both together
optionally, a plaid shirt with a turtleneck underneath and no hoodie also works. cropped hoodies can also be worn! ]
➳ loves wearing bandanas; they can be worn pretty much anywhere as accessories
[ usually black bandanas are worn, although colours that either contrast or are the colour of the worn outfit also work.
hoodie or sweatshirt sleeves are often pushed (rather than rolled) up when wearing a bandana on the wrist ]
➳ optionally can wear glasses
[ they are short-sighted, so they should wear them, but i prefer to keep them optional!
please no rectangular glasses, round glasses are prefered but semi-round also work.
can be black, dark grey or gold; just no bright colours please! ]
➳ enjoys wearing videogame merch where possible
[ this can be anything from a hoodie or t-shirt, to smaller accessories such as hats, scarves or even pins
