Yvette was born and raised in the city of Graycott, in the centermost region of the Grento Ice Plains. Raised by a single father, made a widower shortly after Yvette's birth, the young girl grew up without a mother and proper maternal guidance. Her father was attentive and caring, doing everything he possibly could to make sure Yvette was taken care of, despite his struggles with braiding her hair or making sure her outfits matched when she went to school. Even when Yvette's father would send her to school with a messy and sloppy braid, her teachers, knowing of the poor girl's struggles, made sure she had everything taken care of before class began. As a child, this didn't really bother Yvette much, though when she became conscious of her father's shortcomings in middle school, she began to resent him despite his best efforts, her peers bullying her incessantly and making her insecure. She resented the fact she didn't have her mother around to teach her how to be a girl, make friends like her, and live a normal life, making her anxious about social settings and depressed beyond measure.

Even through high school, Yvette remained the quiet kid, people teasing her for her silence, despite the girl doing nothing to warrant such hatred. She felt alone and isolated from her peers, no one really paying attention to her unless they needed someone to pick on, and her father did everything he could to support and cheer her up, despite Yvette's constant dismissal. In a last-ditch effort to connect with his daughter somehow, he took the leap and adopted a kitten named Kai, hoping it would brighten her day and give her a sense of purpose. Much to his relief and unadulterated happiness, she fell hard for the kitten, her mood immediately shifting to something more bright and opportunistic. It warmed her father's heart to see his girl finally have something to keep her happy, and soon enough he was able to connect with his daughter in the way he had always wanted to. Finally having the motivation and drive to live for something, Yvette worked hard the rest of her school career, graduating despite the struggle and getting accepted to her city's local university for Digital Design. Currently, she is still taking classes and living on campus, her sweet kitty, Kai her registered ESA.
