Joseph is a gentle, welcoming old man. He's hospitable, and makes sure those he cares about are well-taken care of, be it friends, loved ones, or his employees. He has that gay grandpa energy.

Java Glaze is Joseph's pride and joy; serving up tasty treats and strong brews for decades. Even surviving the pandemic. Joseph tries to keep his business as clean and accepting as possible. Java Glaze is meant to be a safe space for queer people of all ages and backgrounds. Joseph pours lots of love into every cup of coffee he brews, and every donut he makes. Ensuring his customers get the highest quality goods.

Joseph is a pacifist, and avoids fights at all costs.

Trivia

-Joseph is rivals with a fellow boomer gay who runs an erotic bakery. Said rival is also a lot more arrogant and elitist. He even shames Joseph for his "sanitized" style.

-The bathrooms in Java Glaze are All-gender single-room bathrooms. Joseph tries to be inclusive to those falling under the trans umbrella. He's also against people having sex in the bahtrooms (this is an all-ages establishment, after all)

-Ironically, Joseph has participated in things like bathroom sex when he was much, much younger. He was certainly more loose in his youth. Times do change.

-Joseph has a husband! Said hubby is a drag queen. The two partners have been together for a little over 30 years. 

-He also has a stepdaughter from one of his hubby's previous relationships. She's well into her adult years at this point; in her 40s at least.
