⇀ Background

a seedrian that lived most of her life in Muset. She was treated awfully by the Inkdrians there, and out-casted. She was always told how awful her kind was and came to hate herself. She eventually sets out to prove she isn't worth, which leads her to become a part of project Valo. In the early stages of project Valo, they experimented with Hybrids. They quickly dumped that though; and one of the experiments was on Copperleaf. She now works as one of the head scientists for the Valo project and wishes to be a full inkdrian.

CopperLeaf spent many years roaming around Muset trying to find something to validate herself. In the end, she convinced herself that as long as she was a seedrian, she would never be worth anything. Copperleaf wishes to be an Inkdrian so badly and blames her parents for giving birth to her. Eventually, Copperleaf created an Artink in her image.

⇀ Family

Copperleaf was born into a small family of Seedrians with a mother, father, and an old sister she barely knew or acknowledged. The family worked in the house of an Inkdrian land lord, who neither hated them nor liked them. Copperleafs family did love her, but thanks to society brainwashing Copperleaf, her bond with them diminished day by day. Her family broke up after MapleThorn was falsely sent to prison. Copperleafs older sister came to scold her about what she had done, but CopperLeaf didn’t even recognize her.

Copperleaf is a seedrian who grew up in the walls of Muset. Due to the extreme prejudice against Mobians and Seedrians in Muset, Copperleaf was completely out-casted from Society. She was constantly told that she was a monster, a freak who was a-part of a species only bent on doing evil to inkdrians and anything else good In the world. Copperleaf didn’t know for a bit whether to believe this, as it was the inkdrians that made her life miserable.

Copperleaf eventually started to give into the words of society. Words stating that Seedrians were monster, and that Copperleaf should feel ashamed to be a seedrian. At the age of 12, Copperleaf discovered her powers. She was able to turn invisible, and used this to travers library’s, private noble estates and even other towns to learn stories about seedrians and Inkdrians. All the stories (written with bias) talked about all the awful things that Seedrians and Mobians did to inkdrians of the past, brainwashing the small child into thinking her kind truly was so awful.

⇀ (Arc Two)

When Copperleaf turned 14, she heard the news from her mother. Copperleafs father MapleThorn is dragged away by the Authorities under the charges of murdering an Inkdrian. The evidence is forged and Copperleafs bond with her own kind, skewed and distorted. The entire time her father is being investigated, Copperleaf is having thoughts in her mind, brooding over the thought of her family being driven to do this because they’re seedrians.

The “evidence” against her father somehow convinces the authorities investigating the case that Copperleaf was a witness to the murder. When questioned about it, Copperleaf doesn’t talk and doesn’t look at the police officers all that much. Even so, Copperleaf is brought out on the day the case was to be decided to testify. At that moment on the stand, with her pitiful father staring at her, Copperleaf had to make a choice. Her species, or the inkdrians.

“HE DID IT, IT WAS SO AWFUL, I CAN’T BELIEVE HE’S MY OWN FATHER! NOTHING BUT A DISGUSTING SEEDRIAN!” The small four-teen year old yelled, pointing at her father. Maplethorns heart broke, he knew his bond with his daughter had lessened, but he hadn’t even though she… hated him. The evidence was flimsy and Copperleafs story of how it went down conflicted with the facts. But that didn’t matter, her father was taken away, and Copperleaf had sided with the greatest race of them all, the inkdrians.

After that, Copperleafs relationship with her Mother (LillyLeaf) greatly declined. Copperleaf started disowning LillyLeaf as her mother. Copperleaf would leave her “home” for days at a time, and return only for food and a place to sleep. She stopped talking to her mother all together. Now, Copperleaf was on a hunt to prove herself as the inkdrian she knew she was deep down.

⇀ (Arc Three)

One day at the age of seven-teen, Copperleaf and many other seedrians were approached by castle officials to test for working on a special assingment at the Countries Castle. This was Copperleafs dream! And all she had to do what fill out a background report and take a blood test! To Copperleafs excitement, she was accepted along with three other seedrians. When Copperleaf got there, she was brought into an underground facility, and told the greatest news of her life. The Muset Capital was working on a project to turn seedrians into Inkdrians! This was Copperleafs dream come true, finally she could be an inkdrians both mentally and physically.

After being brought to the Projects clinic and injected with the ink, Copperleaf was put away in a small, square metal room to let the ink spread. The true torture began, the ink spreading through Copperleafs body was murder to her. The ink felt like a thousand knives burrowing through her skin, with the knives being heated over a fire beforehand. It left Copperleaf screaming the whole night, slamming herself in a crazed rage against the walls of the room and ripping her bed sheets off and ripping the blanket up, Finally the pain was so great that Copperleaf (mercifully) collapsed.

She woke up and starred at herself in the reflection of the metal wall. Her face half way covered in ink. Copperleaf had lost all of her sanity, she giggled in morbid delight at the results of the injection. As long as it turned her into a full inkdrian, it was worth all the pain. And yet, something deep down was… upset, but she didn’t care anymore. Two days later, Copperleaf was brought back out with the other three seedrians, all had undergone their own transformations. Copperleaf happily greeted them with a psychotic laugh and hello. Each of their responses varied.

Soon after, Hakku and a scientist of Project also quickly reemerged. Copperleaf franticly praised and sucked up to them, babbling on about how wonderful it was to become what she was always meant to be. Hakku told her to sit down, and the scientist next to her gave Copperleaf the news on her condition. The ink wasn’t going to spread any further, she wasn’t going to be pure inkdrian. Copperleafs mind froze, her empty eyes gazing straight ahead with a froze, elongated smile. “She wasn’t going to become a full inkdrian, she was going to be stuck a freak, NO, This was better than nothing right? But she was still part seedrian!”

Hakku’s voice broke Copperleafs thoughts. She apologized for their current state, and offered compensation. A plot of land and a large sum of money to each one. The only catch, one had to stay behind for further testing. “ME, I’LL STAY! YOU BOZO’S CAN GO, GET OUT OF HERE! PLEASE, LET ME STAY!!!” Copperleaf begged. The other three test subjects didn’t argue her. Copperleaf stayed within Project Valo as an assistant after that. After the hybrid experiments, Project Valo did one test with Synthetic Artinks. Copperleaf was given permission to design and watch over the synthetic she was to “create.” Copperleaf designed the synthetic after what she believed to be the perfect Inkdrian. Thus giving the world CrimsonWay the Synthetic Artink. Project Valo quickly dumped Synthetics and started on their main fort, Organics. Meanwhile, Copperleaf would resume her job as an assistant and guardian of Crimsonway, losing her sanity more and more each day.
