Vern Celestre(MY MAIN BAB)

Abilities-

Shape Shifter: Vern can only shape shift into animals, but he can shape shift into any animal he chooses.

Flight: Vern is excellent at flight given he has three sets of wings. He ‘s fast, agile and can battle amazingly in the sky.

Potions: Vern can make potions. This can also includes herbal remedies and even teas.

Battle: Vern was taught how to wield a sword by his father. He was trained further by the angelic council to battle with not only swords, but with a bow and arrow too. In other words it wouldn’t be wise to attack him. He won’t fight unless he needs to however.

Parents: Both angels: Bethany(Mother), Altemos(Father)(Both Deceased)

Other Relatives: Vern did have an uncle in the Angelic Army. His father fought along side him. Brothers. However, the two had a falling out over Bethany. His brother also had feelings for her, but Altemos won her over. The two had a huge fight and never spoke after. He didn’t even show up to his brothers funeral. Vern has never met him, but heard his father say his name a few times in conversation.

Three un-named great uncles have followed Vern around most of his life.  They keep an eye on him along with his grandfather.  Vern has no idea they are alive or around.  His parents never talked about them around him, but there was a reason why.  What the angel doesn't realize is the reason he became a Seraph so young is because he isn't entirely angel.  The Seraphim is actually half deity.  His great uncles and his grandfather are all deities.  His father was also part deity as well.  The angel still has untapped powers.  Perhaps some day his great uncles and even his grandfather will make their presence known.

Current Age: Seven

Whereabouts: When Vern had Oliver he was the happiest in the world. However, his mental health wasn’t good at the time. He was seen as an unfit parent Oliver was taken from him. Oliver’s ending was a happy one however for he was placed into a home with two loving parents who couldn’t have children. They wanted a child who was special, so Oliver has a great life. Vern still can’t see him however, but was made aware he is doing well. This is also a rather hard subject for Vern to talk about. He loves his son and misses him very much

Sexual Preference: He is attracted to men. Usually older than him, but not always the case. Vern is very timid around someone he likes and becomes shy. Love has hurt him in the past. He has an open heart and this tends to cause him to get his heart broken.

About Verny/Description: Verny has short dark blue and purple streaked hair(small wave), hazel/grey eyes, medium build and will sometimes wear a white button up shirt, black high heeled boots, dark blue pants a long dark blue velvet vest-coat, or sometimes a suit. He has 3 pairs of white wings, but they have colored tips blue, purple and cranberry. Vern doesn’t like to hide his wings because retracting them is uncomfortable to him. However, if the situation calls for it he can hide his wings from others. He is very clean and tidy as well.

Personality: Vern is smart(nerd), kind, caring, shy and gentle. He is also very brave and courageous. He is willing to put his life on the line for others. He is afraid to confess his feelings to someone he has fallen for. This might have to do with the fact he was attacked and had a bad relationship in the past with a man who pretty much trapped him for four years. He is afraid of being rejected. He feels confused and unworthy of a real relationship because of what happened to him as well and that no one will love him because of it. Oh, and expect to be given sweets like cookies, pie, or cake. Vern baked them, but doesn’t eat that much because of his health issues. Vern doesn’t like yelling and will do anything to get away from it. The scent of cigarettes is a huge turn off for him and can even cause him great distress. He doesn’t mind a little alcohol, but in moderation. If you want to get to know Vern offer him some tea and sit down to have an easy talk.

Education:

High-school: Went to a public high-school and was picked on because of his wings and because Vern was a huge nerd. He loved everything science and would stay after school to study the animals in the lab. They had a tarantula and a snake. For the longest time his only friend was the tarantula. Vern was a high honors student able to graduate two years early.

College: Vern received letters from schools accepting his applications. He chose the one which had the best science program. At this point he didn’t know what he wanted to do as far as his science interests. He thought about zoology, seismology and even paleontology. Then he found out about a rather interesting program for Forensics and DNA Analysis. This is what spurred his interested in Behavior Analysis and Criminal Justice. His new dream was to work for the FBI up at Quantico. He completed degrees for Criminology and Forensics. (During this time he met his ex and things took a bad turn. He managed to finish school, but had to do it in secret) After Schooling: By this time Vern was dodging his ex. He constantly tried to get jobs with police precincts in DNA labs and such. The angel succeeded, but then had to leave abruptly when his ex found him again. Over a span of a few years he did manage to get a call from Quantico after sending in his credentials and information. They were very interested in having a unique person working for them. Being an angel with abilities humans didn’t have they were very much interested. However, before he was able to take the position offered to him his ex found him and he had to go back on the run.

Currently: Vern takes small odd jobs where he can find them. He has worked as a waiter, cashier and a certified babysitter. He is certified CPR and babysitting training as well.

Favorite Foods: Vern is a vegetarian and is also lactose intolerant. He loves to make wheat pasta dishes and is very health conscious a lot of the time. He will eat sweets every now and again, but has to watch his blood sugar because he is hypoglycemic. Vern is allergic to peanuts. Hearty Veggy stew, tofu chili, anything with asparagus, an array of salads, pasta dishes, he will occasionally eat lobster and various fishes(baked), quiche and anything with peppers. He also has a weak spot for tea!

Likes: Art, music, animals, caring for others(especially children), giving sweets to others, fluffy things, moths, suits, older men, kindness, cuddling, baking, love, making people laugh, standing up for what’s right, protecting those in need

Dislikes: Pain, fire, sadness, talking about his ex, when someone he doesn’t know gets too close to him, small or tight spaces, men that are very aggressive towards him(He only tolerates this if he knows the person VERY well), nasty smells, yelling, cigarettes(this is actually a trigger for his PTSD), pulling out his feathers and being touched without his permission

Vern’s True Form: Vern has recently been able to take his true form. Not much is known about it other than he has more than one head and more wings. The angel also grows in size and gains great power. Taking him on in this form is a death warrant. It seems he was able to take this form during extreme duress. He doesn’t know how to control when he changes yet. Art of his true form will come in time. The only ref for it is a Seraph from the Shin Megami Tensei series. I have sort of based his true form on it. It’s beautiful yet terrifying at the same time. Though there are some color changes and more wings. Vern has a total of twelve wings in his true form rather than the six.
