Kiari is a sort of alien canine creature (called zyntas - lives much longer than a regular dog), a faithful companion to Shaki and arrived on Earth from the same planet as him. Initially quite cautious about Lia, she eventually warms up to her as well.

She has a fur marking of an old diety monster on her left side along her ribs and flank.
