ABOUT
"Just let the light shine from your soul, before we run out of time-"
Gentle, curious, adventurous yet introverted. Kasius likes doing new activities and projects, but usually on his own time/alone in fear of making mistakes in front of others. That being said, he is always open to suggestions on things to do, and will show results if asked. He is a people-pleaser at heart, living to please, even at his own risk. That being said, his shyness can hold him back from offering help if needed. He hates this fact, but he still can't break this habit of trying to avoid people. It's likely due to his upbringing, not having a real childhood or really "happy" past, though when asked he usually explains it as "I'm just shy".
The one person he will often help and worry over, though, is his practical brother Jeremiah. They were "raised" by the same people with a similar past, though seeing the hardships that Jeremiah suffered made Kasius protective of him to the point where he was able to overcome his shyness- just for him.
DESIGN
- Hair is iridescent.
- Extremely tall, 8'10" at base and can grow up to 24'9".
- Star patterning in skin and eyes can glow!
- Blush is abnormal, appears as a golden glow.
BACKGROUND
Basics
Kasius was raised in Anna's supernatural safehaven- Crimson Rose. Being an ink demon, Anna took direct care of him for a majority of his childhood, overprotective of him given her link to her own ink demon (Ertoria). It wasn't uncommon to see Kasius and Jeremiah together as well, Jeremiah being entrusted to care for Kasius whenever Anna was busy once he started working for the facility. The two "brothers" grew close quickly, relying on each other to remain stable in the so-called safe haven that they were forced to call home.
Brother and Current
After Jeremiah's "incident", with the injury of his eye, Kasius changed. From the once ecstatic and excitable demon, he shifted into a hateful and protective beast. It took ages for him to calm and become nicer again, though even still he isn't the same as he once was. He's still adventurous, but doesn't have quite the excitement that he did when he was a child. Later, as he learned more and more of the harshness that Jeremiah had to grow up with, it only made Kasius hide in his shell more, creating the extremely shy ink demon that he is today.
It's unfortunately more common to see him acting up nowadays because of his shyness and need to protect others. His most common punishment, the most severe one, is being thrown into a sensory deprevation chamber. It's extremely effective for him, always leaving him dazed, confused, obedient. Still, he'll act up again eventually, simply repeating the process.
RELATIONSHIPS
"'Miah is a brother in spirit! We're near inseparable, I'm very attached to him in a sibling sort of way. I tend to give into my instincts around him- being particularly protective."
"I'll admit, for a human... Anna is a bit scary. I'm fine listening to her, but at the same time I wish she would leave me to my devices. Ertoria, though, I'm particularly attached to. I don't know why... Maybe because she's the same species as I am? Regardless, I love them both, and I'm forever greatful that they took me in."
"Pixel is my favorite patient here at the safehaven... I grew attached from the moment I met her. Her abilities, her behaviors, her colors, what's not to love? I just hope she gets treated better the stronger she gets... She deserves a calmer and more loving life."
"Myre is... Interesting to me. His ways are strange, his abilities even stranger, but I can't help but be curious about him and how his mind works. We don't really get along... But the times where I can get through to him, we have strangely pleasant and interesting conversations."

TRIVIA
- Creation Date: January 2nd 2021
- He can't speak super well. He has an excellent vocabulary, but for an unknown reason he has a hard stutter, especially when stressed, commonly tripping over words.
- His powers are a "mix" of the fire and celestial abilities from pure-bred ink demons, having "photographic" memory, enhanced low-light vision, flammable ink. Given his younger age, he doesn't have all of these powers exactly perfect- specifically in regard to the photographic memory. He has it, but not in the way one would think. It's hard for him to exactly remember something, unless there's something to trigger said memory.
- He might be a pyromaniac. At least, it's common to see something on fire around him, typically set off by his own ink.
- When a fire is lit via his ink, it's not the typical orange. It can show almost any color, depending on various environmental and personal aspects.
- Every year for his birthday, he only asks for fireworks and/or sparklers. And, if he doesn't get any, he'll act very childish in retaliation.
