A night out partying gone wrong is how Chusi would describe his life. His curious nature brought him out of his safe place and set him right smack in the middle of Humanity, were nothing makes sense. Despite this, Chusi has shown a rather hefty amount of determination and level headedness for one so young and in such dire circumstance. He quickly adapted to his situation (albeit after having a good, long cry away from prying eyes), and then set a plan in motion. When left to his own devices and within a nurturin enviroment, he's playful, mischevious and tends to like adventure and new situations. However, inexperience makes it easy to scare him and put him on the defensive, even if everything is more or less all for show.
While it's true Chusi holds a tremendous amount of self confidence, it's not 'truthful', in the sense that he doesn't feel comfortable with his looks. As such, he's rather scared of skin upon skin touch when it gets serious, and seems to have trouble with emotional connections. He acts larger than life to make up for his own self confidence issues. It's likely a good thing that he was picked up by Asher and his family when he was, and not left entirely to his own devices...
Everything Chusi has become has been an attempt to hide away in the human world with as minimal danger as possible. He decided that switching to female and posing as Chthon would help keep him safe. He's spent so much time as female, that he has no problem with masquerading as one, though in truth, he identifies as male.

✚ SHADOW MANIP - High tier shadow manipulation. Chusi could, in fact, be quite the menace if he were older. As it stands though, despite his high affinity for shadows, his low energy makes it so fighting is likely the last thing on his mind. Pranks are mostly in order. Mostly, he uses this power to 'melt' and hide in shadows rather than as a means of offense. ✚ SHADOW TRAVEL - One person, can't be used often or in rapid succession. Often used as a means to escape, or means of travelling long distances. ✚ DEATH MANIP - High tier necromancy magic. Able to manipulate the dead as puppets. Dead flesh can be commanded with ease but again, her limit of energy output greatly diminishes what she can do and for how long. She can not bring back the dead, only manipulate them. ✚ POISON - Basilisks are, by nature, highly poisonous, and both his saliva and blood are toxic to the touch when he's stressed. When he's calm, he can safely be touched, but in a fight or in a situation of duress, it's best to not go near him; it's his only real line of defense. ✚ VAMPIRIC - Chusi tends to favor blood over anything else, and unfortunately, the downsides of his vampiric nature show; he can't stand daylight, is allergic to certain earth substances and depends on an intake of blood to keep him moving and alive. While flesh and energy can also be ingested/drained, he's slightly addicted to blood. ✚ CONTRACT - Self explanatory. Able to make contracts, and being a demon, can just as easily break them. However, if you're going to bind a demon in a contract... Chusi's likely one of the best choices. He'd need very good reasons to go back on his word. ✚ DEMONIC NAME - Sibilus. It can be used to bind him into contract unwillingly. ✚ POSSESSION - Able to not only posses humans, but animals, plants and items too. ✚ SHIFTER - Both able to take the form of an undead looking basilisk and to switch gender fluidly. Tends to prefer to view self as male, but masquerades as female. |

Chusi is in fact... not exactly very old. Born within Oblivion, and brought out by the sheer curiosity he felt for the human world and their ways. He rather much did the equivalent of sneaking out for a night of good fun out in the human world and well, kind of found the door back 'home' locked when he was done. Oopsie-daisy.
Upon noticing that he could not get back, he set up a persona for himself; he faked being both Chthon and female, given most creatures tended to leave these creatures well alone back home. His rather high proficiency of shadow manipulation allowed him to make a name for himself as a Chthon of Darkness. He mostly keeps to the shadows, and tries to poke around as little as possible with creatures higher up than him in the pecking order of things. So far... it's helped keep him alive, and he hopes to keep the facade up until he can get himself back home, where he belongs. Where shit actually makes sense.
His arrival to NC has more to do with the fact he followed someone there than anything else. Besides, clearly a small town would be the best place to set up shop. Right?
