Obituary

The goddess of suffering, born from the ashes of a kingdom of ceaseless tears.

She may well be the newest higher being around, born only as a result of the pure anguish that emanated off of Hallownest as it fell and lay in ruins. She isn't a worm, instead functioning like other gods, coming into being when there is an excess of something. She feeds on negativity, but does not like to cause it herself. She instead looks for an already upset bug and discreetly siphons off them as she has a pleasant conversation with them. This process is not painful, and is not even noticed unless the bug in question is more in tune with their own magical side.

She wanders the land with no particular purpose, she simply wishes to observe and learn. She has never met another higher being, and wouldn't really care about it either way. She has a bit of a hard time feeling emotions in general, but she's always treats those she comes across cordially. She does not fear death, only having a morbid curiosity of it due to it being tied to the very nature of her being. She sees a faint glow around corpses and places/people that harbor a lot of negativity glow to her as well. She uses a combination of sight and smell to search for "victims."

She has no true name but has picked up the nickname Obituary from the mortals she's talked too.
