Akiko Kaira (カイラ 秋子 Kaira Akiko), also known as the Wildcat Hero: Niyaniya Aki (ワイルドキャットヒーロー：にやにや秋 Wairudokiatto Hiro: Niyaniya Aki?), is a student in Class-SH2 at U.A. High School, training to become a Pro Hero. AppearanceAkiko is a very tall athletic build teenage girl with very strong legs. She has keen green cat eyes that widen or narrow over the course of the day. She has short light brown hair that she keeps at about chin length. Along with her more human features she has cougar ears and a tail which react to her emotions much to her annoyance. she has claws on her fingers and feet in place of nails, the latter she cannot actually retract. she also has toe beans on the bottom of her toes After an accident when she was six years old she has a scar going from her left elbow to the back of her hand. Midway through her second year she gains a scar on her right calf During school hours, she wears the standard female uniform which consists of a gray blazer with blue-green stripes, a formal white shirt, red tie, blue-green pleated skirt. In winter she wears black knee socks, and brown shoes which are specially modified to fit her claws while in every other season she wears flip flops which most of the time are black or navy blue. Her hero costume consists of a light brown leotard with white trim and dark brown claw mark patterns, elbow length reinforced dark brown bracers, a pair of brown and white knee high, reinforced dense boots with the toe of the boot having metal claws to fit Akiko’s claws, the heel is also plated, an orange visor reminiscent of Hawks’ to prevent debris getting into her eyes. During winter, she adds warm sleeves and pants under her bracers and boots. In her second year her hero suit is upgraded with the addition of a mask that can retract into her visor and increase the power of her screeches, soles that attach to her boots and increase the power of her kicks and speed. Additionally she also has a stealth suit which adds a hood and changes the browns of her normal suit to black, her boots also have softer soles to lessen the noise of her footfalls, her visor-speaker mask combo is also swapped to a full black mask, the stealth suit also has sleeves and pants but they aren't built to be warm like the winter variant. In the middle of her second year she swaps out her bracers for Hi-Tech armoured gauntlets to help lessen the strain on her arms. In her third year she adds the sleeves and pants of her stealth suit to her regular hero suit. PersonalityAkiko is generally very cheerful and fired up about everything she does but has a long track record of getting easily irritated and downright angered when she feels wronged, she is working on keeping her cool but even so there are certain things that are guaranteed to set her off for instance lecturing her about things she knows and/or making assumptions about her life but especially disparaging heroes and hero work will get her extremely angry. Akiko also holds grudges for ages and it will take quite a bit for her to truly let go of the grudge even if she says she no longer holds one. Nonetheless she does not let her negative feelings about people effect how she does her work to save people and if you try and bring personal problems about her that can impede doing so she will rip into you for technically endangering people's live by stopping her. Equally it is also hard to dissuade her from a plan of action once she has fully made up her mind about it but the closer to her you are the easier it is to do so in order; her family>her best friends and pro hero mentor>her friends>her teacher>everyone else including other teachers She is incredibly protective of everyone she is close to and is relentless when they get hurt and will not let anything or anyone stop her from taking down whoever thought they could get away with hurting her loved ones. Quirk and AbilitiesCougar Form: This quirk gives Akiko Cougar-like abilities and features such as jumping great distances(18ft high, 20 to 40 ft long), retractable claws, shrill screeches, keen hearing, semi-night vision, cat ears, cat eyes, cat tail, pronounced canine teeth Weaknesses/drawbacks: if you immobilize her completely, she is almost powerless as her fighting style relies on her legs and her arms are quite weak, Her ears are sensitive to very loud noises to such an extent that if a noise is loud enough she will double over in pain until the noise stops Sabretooth Banshee(Formerly referred to as her Rage State and not currently named in canon) This could technically be called Akiko's quirk at it's apex which enhances her existing abilities and changes her appearance slightly; she can jump vertically 25 feet and horizontally between 25 and 50 feet, depending on the run up available Her arm strength has also been increased from 70kg to 95kg but she still cannot hold anything heavy longer than 20 seconds without help from others due to the permanent damage to her left arm. She grows about three inches, her hair gets longer, her canines become longer as do her claws, her irises become dark green. In the controlled rage state she is able to talk and can differentiate friends from enemies. the time limit(5 minutes) until she faints from physical exhaustion is still present and is technically more of a looming presence now as Akiko is now aware of the exhaustion more than ever due to being actually coherent and has to do her best to keep track of time while simultaneously fighting. Weaknesses/drawbacks: The longer she is in this form the more physically exhausted she becomes until she passes out which takes five minutes Moves
