Personality: Alert is, quite frankly, one of the happiest people you can find within the flying corps. Though others often grow tired of his optimism, his constant cheerfulness rubs off on them from time to time. Always bursting with enthusiasm, he's quick to jump onto any mission he can get his hands on, finishing it to the best of his abilities. That being said, Alert's very hard-working, and often becomes somewhat disappointed in himself when things get out of hand. Nonetheless, that also means he's constantly working to improve upon himself.

He has also proved himself to be quite competitive - in a good way, at least. Want to challenge him to a race through the skies? Good luck! Alert's sheer tenacity to win always finds him different, creative ways to pull off a win. However, he has never cheated in anything; and can be beat when others take to cheating instead of facing him fair and square. His loyalty extends past his need to win, residing most prominently within his loyalty to the flying corps. When flying alongside his squad members - whether it's during an aerial patrol or an all-out siege - Alert is always striving to be on the winning side. If someone in the line falls, he's there to take up their place, covering both of their positions to the best of his ability.

However nice or upbeat he may be, Alert has his flaws. One of which is that he just doesn't know how to give up. Yes, many things can be conquered when you put your mind to it, but not all. Alert faces otherwise impossible tasks, only to be beat down again and again. Oftentimes he tires himself out to the point where it's detrimental to his health. He's also known to be a tad annoying. Those who enjoy their solitude are the ones who Alert targets more often than others; only for it to end with him nearly getting clubbed in the head because they wanted to be left alone. Alert just doesn't know when to take a hint.

Physical Appearance & Style: Alert is certainly eye-catching, especially with red being the colour that he wears most. Body-wise, he's tall and thin. His skin is pale, though with a slight peach hue to it. Having trained himself vigorously, he's also quite heavily built, and boasts many well-defined muscles. Standing at about 5'9", he's an average height for his kind, though certainly shorter than some. His hair, which is bright red - like most of his outfit - is quite long, and can easily run down to the back of his knees when he leaves it down. However, Alert's shown a fondness to braids, and so he regularly braids his hair; sometimes wrapping it around his neck to keep it out of his face. Some of his hair can't quite fit into the braid, and so two pieces of it stick up in cowlicks. His eyes, hidden by rounded, green goggles, are orange with a black scerla. Al's wings, clear and insect-like, can be summoned at will, and will disappear when they are no longer needed.

When it comes to clothing, Alert believes in wearing only the brightest and most 'loud' of dress; hence why he's usually clad in warm colours. His tank top is skin tight, easily defining his abdominal and pectoral muscles. The edges of his top, the sleeves and the necklace, are coloured black. His pants are made of the same material used for his shirt, and so they give off the same, skin-tight look. Alert is also never seen without his elbow-length gloves, which consist of the same colours as his top and pants. His knee-length boots - the same colours as most of his outfit, since he has no taste - have two white prongs on them, reminiscent of the claws of his people's ancestors. Two belts are wrapped around his upper body for no particular reason, only because he claims that he may need them one day... which he probably won't. The only semi-useful thing he has strapped to him is the shawl circling his waist. It's coloured white with orange tips, and other than being an accessory, he can wrap it around his shoulders to keep him warm.
