The disgraced leader of the cult, and Aran's father. Deacon was pressured into continuing his legacy through having children, something made more embarrassing due to having to take Tobias as an acting wife for the role. He loathed her, loathed the cult for wanting more than him, and loathed the children they had. After Aran escaped the cult it fell into shambles, he refused the pleas to retake control of it out of bitterness. As well as that he killed Tobias, seeing her as no use now that the prodigy child had fled. He spent the rest of his life seething in his own hate and self loathing.
