Sahna

Sahna is a thirty-something [in mortal years] nekomata. Unexpectedly short and stocky. He's got an unfriendly face, but he's actually polite and fairly accommodating, just very indifferent to the world as a whole. Difficult to surprise or amuse.

His inability to emote or feel excitement may be born of a chain of traumatic past 'lives'. Across his long, supernatural life, he's lived as many people's pet cat under different names, but it's always ended in his owners either tragically dying or discovering that he is a nekomata and trying to kill/abandon him. Because of this, he believes that he is bad luck and tries not to get too close to anyone or get particularly invested in anything. He seems to spend his days just smoking, reading, and wandering now.

He always has his kiseru on hand and is smoking more often than he's not.
