A troublemaker. Lives underground, wants to explore the surface.

Part of a group of animals that have lived together underground for generations after a very bad winter, then got stuck when their tunnels collapsed. One animal, seeing an opportunity, made themselves the leader of the group and convinced them it was too dangerous to dig themselves out and go back to facing the harsh weather above, so they stayed underground under his power (all according to his plan, because he was the one who used his gift with earth magic to close the tunnels in the first place). Now, years later, another way up to the surface has been found, but many of them are too nervous to go and see for themselves what life aboveground is like.
