As a furnace himself his priority was maintaing systems engines and heating for the Nemesis so that the bot on board didn't freeze when being in such high altitudes or in cold places. He was the only worker maintaining the simple task. No one really new about him since he staid away from bots. He knows he can be very intimidating and rather then start a pointless fight to beat him (because hes hudge) he rather stay isolated and do his job as simple minded as he is. One day the Nemesis was running low on energon to fuel they're systems leading for them to quickly land on a frozen waste land. Thinking everything would be fine since heating was never a problem before in he Nemesis. He was working quite the shift by himself using his hands to quickly get from place to place rather then his short legs but it soon became to much. The temperature of the Nemesis quickly dropped do to the system having to work double time to heat up the ship. He did his best to fix the problem but to no avail. The Nemesis was starting to freeze. He of course didn't really notice as his usually extremely hot. Giving up on trying to fix it and hearing the yells in the hall way of upset bots wanting to be warm he went out of his safe space. Carefully he walked over to the group of bots starting to explain that the heating system broke and that he needed help fixing it but before he could continue the bots just staid around him warming their servos up. Instead of the usual picking and fighting he would be treated with they were greatfull he was around. He then went into the control room followed by a bunch of cold bots. He sat down and became the ball of heat all the bots really needed soon heating up the control room to relay a message to Megatron that they were fucking cold. After that day he was more known threw out the ship, not to say bots visited him, but they at least waved a friendly hello if they ever say him in the hall collected what ever he needed. You could say the nemesis got a little more warmer after that day
