Scorch

His name is a placeholder, but I'll think of another one later

He is a guard for a town in his world. He chose to be a guard due to him being able to use fire magic very well. Though he is able to use fire magic, he does keep a sword with him because he wants to make sure he is able to fight if he is unable to use his magic for any reason. Due to his type of fire magic, he is able to ignite certain parts of his body in flames, namely his hands and wings. While he has almost full control of this power, if he gets emotional enough it may happen without him wanting it to happen, or it could not happen when he wants it to happen. He can change forms, though not many people know about this. Since Scorch is seen in his reverse griffin form in most situation, people don't even question anything when it comes to transformation. He prefers for people not to know about that aspect of him, since that sort of power isn't exactly common in that world, though there are some people who are known to have those powers. Most of those people normally have more power or are seen as having more power. 

Scorch can be pretty serious in the right circumstances, Though this is the case, he can have problems relaxing, even if he is off duty. Though he doesn't show it, he is pretty anxious that something is going to happen to his town. To combat this anxiety, he tends to joke around a bit with his friends. He loves exploring, especially in forests. He is overly cautious when he explores, though, because he doesn't want his wings or hands to ignite without him wanting them to do so. He knows he mostly has control over this, but he still prefers to stay cautious about it. There have been points when he doesn't like being touched because he didn't want to hurt whoever or whatever is touching him. He is trying to get a bit more comfortable with relaxing when it comes to his powers, though.
