Ramm Hollybranch

A tiefling Fey Ranger with a big ole wolf and some big ole trust issues.

He and his best friend/adoptive big brother Arvendor grew up in an orphanage ran by the followers of Marigold Hollybranch, another character of mine from a previous campaign.  When the kids were around 14, they got lost in the woods and ultimately ended up stuck in the Feywild.  They were then charmed by a member of the Unseelie court and forced to do her bidding.  After years of this, the fey offered to send them home- but only if one killed the other.  Ramm was ready to refuse, but Arvendor stabbed him in the back.

Ramm woke up in the woods outside town, blanketed in moss and freshly picked marigolds.  His wounds were healed, and a huge silver handprint was etched across his chest- as if someone cast a resurrection spell on him.  When he wandered back into town, he found that while he had grown up (he was around 20 at this point) the town itself had stood still.  The feywild's time warping effects had turned years into days.

It was quickly decided that it was Marigold who had intervened to save Ramm's life, so he took on her last name to honor her.
