Amon

Description

Amon is a wrath demon and the current king of wrath. He's a special wrath demon who has no need for a comfort item as he's able to stay calm by himself.

Amon has a slender yet slightly muscular build. He is taller than most other kids his age. He has dark olive skin and long blond hair which he keeps in a ponytail. His eyes are light brown though they appear yellow in the light. Because he's a wrath demon he has very large claws and a pair of bull horns. Amon has a large scar from his upper chest to his belly button, which is usually hidden under bandages he wraps around his torso. He mostly wears traditional wrath armor and a long red cape. His claws and horns aside, Amon looks identical to his human, Ira.

Personality

Amon is a good natured kid by heart, though he's often quick to speak without thinking and he is judgmental about new things he doesn't know well, so he will more often or not come off as rude and ignorant. To add to this, Amon also has a hard time being honest with his feelings around people, which will often result in him doing the opposite of what he intends, i.e. tease or even bully someone he actually wants to befriend. Once befriended, Amon will be the most loyal and reliable friend. He can often seem close minded, especially when it comes to other demon species, as he often only think of them as stereotypes. His main weakness is always being too quick to judge. Though he is very caring to those he's able to relate to, like other wrath demons and his human, and does whatever is in his power to help them. As a wrath demon he does have a short temper, but he won't fly into a violent rage even if he is provoked further.  Amon is aware of how blessed he is to not be like other wrath demons, though he also feels a certain guilt for not having to deal with the paranoia and anxiety of losing himself to wrath. Because of this he doesn't like to bring it to other people's attention. He's very serious and stern most of the time, though he lacks the natural leadership to rule his kingdom properly.

Background

Amon was born from the human girl Ira. Ira was kidnapped and tortured by a demon worshiping cult which aim was to create strong demons through their victims' suffering. The cult was successful in their quest as Amon was born through Ira's torture, though the plan backfired  as Amon's mind was filled with Ira's vengeance. He was born fully enraged. First thing he did after he was born was seeking out his human's kidnappers, slaughtering the whole cult that had indirectly created him. Once he had found Ira among their victims he rescued her and brought her to the nearest hospital. After having carried out his human's revenge Amon's mind finally became calm. Unlike other wrath demons his mind would stay calm for the majority of the of his life. Though he's involvement was far from over yet. Amon frequently visited Ira in the hospital and soon learned from overhearing the doctors that Ira's organs were failing. His human was dying. Out of desperation Amon did the only thing he could think of and offered his own organs to be given to Ira. Due to being a demon Amon was able to survive this and regenerated his missing organs over time. 

After he recovered Amon went to join the knight academy for wrath and lust demons. Though he would still visit Ira occasionally. At that time the wrath and lust kingdom were a joined kingdom, something Amon came to disapprove of during his years in the academy. He was sorted into Giovanni's class where he met his future best friend, the hybrid Saturn. He'd also meet his eventual rival and future lust king Ashmedai. Amon graduated from the knight academy as the top of his class. Over the years Amon became more frustrated with the two kingdoms being joined, wanting wrath demons to become independent again. Though he realized in order to change this he would have to do so himself by becoming the next wrath king.

As the only way to become king is to challenge and slay the current king, Amon did so, despite how much respect he did had for his predecessor. Amon appointed Saturnas his blood knight as one of the first things he did as king. And like he had envisioned, he broke up the alliance between the wrath kingdom and the lust kingdom, now only looking after the demons in his own kingdom.
