Rin usually behaves as an airheaded, cute and clumsy boy, he likes people thinking about him this way so they don't see him as a threat or as having bad intentions. In reality, he does this to poke fun at people, he finds it funny how easy it is to trick people, specifically cishet men, with an innocent appearance and cute manners.
He says things like "senpai" or "onii-chan" ironically to mess with people, he also usually ends his sentences with "-nya" for the same reason.

He's not a bad person tho, he just likes to mess with people. Besides that he's very friendly and extroverted, I guess only his closest friends know how he really is.
