He returned to destruction, and traveled with a caravan for years to drown out his failures, learning to perform musically and use his Druid magic to enhance his performances with the group. He reconciled with himself after Zeph appeared in his life again and the two reconnected, catching up on time lost as the two had gone their separate ways, losing track of each other. The two happened to be visiting their former hometown and ran into each other, where Zechariah met Karith. He teased his brother on his interesting taste in stronger women, but the brothers quickly seemed to fall back into the routine of things after the initial awkwardness and apologies.

While Zeph is blunt to the point of often being confused for being rude, Zechariah (or Zach as he likes to be called) is a smooth talker and has a charming personality. He has charmed his way into many a woman's hearts, and has several admirers in many places, although Zach is not as well known as he would like to be. His charming and carefree personality hides a highly observant and strategic mind, using his façade to bring everyone's guards down and make others more susceptible to spilling vital information that he can put to good use. It has, however, landed him in trouble in the past.

After Kethryllia was born, Zach became close to the child and offered to lend his aid whenever Zeph and Karith needed it. As he was taking a break from travelling, he was much easier to contact, although having a demigod of a brother made it significantly easier to communicate with him. His offer would eventually be taken up on, as when Kethryllia hit her early 20's, Zeph sensed an awakening of Druidic power. He asked Zach to keep an eye on Kethryllia's adventuring party, and graciously agreed to it, especially since Kethryllia's best friend Rayleigh was there. However, after introducing himself, he realized that her friend had also left. He offered to stay regardless, and offer his services to the group that had done so well to protect her thus far. During his short stay, he learned much of the group of adventurers, but also learned a lot about their enemies, which nearly cost him his life. Zach was cornered one night as he headed to go drink at the bar, and after transforming into a Moorbounder, he was nearly crushed to death and fled. His enemy quickly caught up to him and mocked him, leaving him shaken. Zach drank himself into unconsciousness, not returning to the hotel room the party was staying in.

When Zeph returned with a Wild Shaped Kethryllia, she used her newfound powers to sniff out her uncle Zach. After waking him up, his brother deliriously put his hands on Zeph's face saying how thankful he was to see him alive, stammering over himself and nearly breaking into tears as he began to apologize. Seeing him in his unstable state, Zeph transformed and carried an unconscious Zach back to the hotel room, and dropping his brother on his bed before turning to the party and confronting one of Kethryllia's party members who now carried a former enemy of Zeph and his wife. After taking him outside and having Kethryllia have a sparring match, Karith showed up, and the two eventually left. As the party gathered themselves, and welcomed Kethryllia back with a heavy silence, save one of her other party members, Zeph quietly snuck back to the party's room and took his brother with him.

As of now, his location is unknown, but he is recuperating after his brush with death with a fearsome enemy. The information Zach provided Zeph spurred his brother and his sister-in-law to begin researching this new enemy. While Zach has some of his old tendencies lingering around, the confrontation changed his life, and hopefully set him on the right path.
