Joel was born in wealth and raised by his lovely parents, that cared for him and did everything to make him happy and healthy. He has an older brother, Jackson, who was like an idol for him ever since he can remember. As they grew up and parted ways their friendship lowered a little, but they will always love each other no matter what.

Is a mobster who followed in his father's footsteps. Everyone from his family works like that, so he always thought that being a gangster is something normal and acceptable. He doesn't like to kill and tries to avoid it as much as possible.

Jo is romantic and affectionate. He was married to a woman named Beth and; even though they had a child (Lucy) and Joel was really trying to save their marriage, they got divorced pretty fast. He hates her now and fights for parental rights because he loves Lucy dearly and wants her to live with him. His new love interests are Lester and Carlisle; he is used to be in open relationships, but he loves with all his heart and would do anything to make his partners happy.
