August once used to be a normal businessman working in the hub of Laterano Notary, often tasked with handling proper business and settling disputes among the people. After an unknown incident where he was sent out to protect the rights of the citizens, he was exiled from the Notarial Hall after severe misconduct, and eventually came to Rhodes Island for treatment of Oripathy, as well as to find a place to work. Nowadays, he performs his tasks as a guard for their combat forces, as well as handling paperwork on the side.

Intelligent and capable, August comes with his thorns as well; he's prickly and not fond of company, and looks down on others should they not perform to his standards. He sometimes goes out of his way to correct people's path and try to help them along their way, with varied results. He keeps his head down and doesn't despise cooperation, though is quite a difficult man to get along with.
