Levi Sinclair is a household name: a longtime, successful designer and occasional model with Urban Fabrics Co., a fashion company that primarily puts out tv & magitube shows. He's the biggest name and one of the founding members of Urban Fabrics, and most people know it as Levi's company, though this isnt technically true. Design aside, he's typically the primary panel judge on contest-style reality series and occasionally a participant in challenge shows, and works very closely with the producers. he's essentially fashion gordon ramsay (gorgon ramsay dfgdfg)
Levi is indeed an incredibly talented designer and his fame is well-earned for his street styles. He's a honed mentor, too, despite his age; and is very good at dissecting intent and guiding young aspirants in directions they'll respond well to (provided they're willing to listen). Most importantly, though, he has a head for live media and the charisma to back up hosting, both on camera and maintaining his persona for the brand. He can do it all and he does, and he'd dare anyone to do it better.
Unfortunately, what with everything on his plate, Levi's very busy and seldom has time for himself - somewhat of a sticking point for him lately. He is living his dream but if there isnt a life to live outside of it... is he okay with that? He has very few personal connections that aren't strictly business or simply starstruck fans. He's come to the sudden realization that he's lost sight of "the real levi" in lieu of his working persona and the prospect terrifies him. Is this all worth it if there is no Levi off-screen?
Levi exudes confidence and rightly so, but is admittedly a little stuck-up in the way that comes from being told you're a visionary in your field too often. When the cameras are rolling, he tends to come off as a critical perfectionist - maybe not a cranky one, but certainly hard to please. Off-air, he's unsettlingly similar, though his usual flair and attention-demanding presence mellows into a more private (though still intimidating) person. Lately he's been very down, and having a hard time doing much besides feeling sorry for himself, so he's thrown himself wholeheartedly into work as a distraction.

Laika - co-worker in the stylist department, they're friendly and know each other well enough to have a rapport.
Darius - co-worker on the camera crew. technically speaking, Levi holds a much higher position than Darius so they don't interact on equal terms.
Species - Spinxyn
Spinx are a terribly mischievous type of sphinx native to Nephfei with a deep love for pranks and fashion. They are magicless, unlike the other species of their world - legend has it they pranked the gods and were punished - and thus are very magically malleable. Because of this, spinx can be cursed or gifted with magic and it affects their bodies drastically.
Spinxyn are identifiable by their heart-shaped faces, sloped banana ribcage, and innate desire to cause problems on purpose.
World Context || Nephfei group <3
A modern fantasy world governed by magical gods, Nephfei is home to four sentient species - harpips, centicorns, merphins, and spinxyn. They live together in relative peace aside from some cultural clashes between locales of differing ideologies. The world has been imbued with magic, in all four species and in the earth itself, but spinxyn have none of their own; revoked by the gods, so they say, as an ancient punishment. With tangible deities, Nephfeism is a prevalent religion amongst the inhabitants, and some religious spinxyn see their situation as deserved punishment, while others deny the gods entirely and rally against this unfair treatment.
Nephfei has a good amount of modern-day technology, though its electricity is replaced by magic. Lighting, household appliances, television, games, and the internet at large all exist with relative similarity to the real world. Despite the societal advancements, though, a significant amount of the world's history and inner workings remain shrouded in mystery and magical secrets...
