☆ Training; just like his “brother”, Asmodeous loves nothing more than a good fight. However, he doesn’t like using weapons. He says it’s more exciting when it’s just one on one, strength of one’s body and mind against another. Plus, Asmodeous just likes to feel blood on his paws every once and awhile.

☆ Interrogation; when Asmodeous is particularly bored, Devoid allows him to have conversations with some of his associates. If he doesn’t hear what he wants to hear, Asmodeous gets to procure some amusement through his magic.

ғʀɪᴇɴᴅs:

☆ Devoid; connected via RNIR. Asmodeous is the only one whom Devoid has met that still understands Latin.

☆ Amenadiel; distant cousins by blood, but Asmodeous sees Amenadiel as more of a brother instead. He greatly admires Amenadiel and wants to beat him in combat one day. Though, he also envies Amenadiel’s Aurusalkar blood, unsatisfied with his own Alkarnabi genes. The two haven’t spoken to each other in years.

☆ “Bringing Out the Worst”

☆ Asmodeous’ magic functions to, quite literally, bring out the worst in others. Upon physical contact, he’s able to remove strong negative emotions from others and give those emotions physical form. The forms are often grotesque metaphorical exaggerations of said emotions; such as gluttony manifesting as a creature with a large mouth.

☆ Similar to his cousin Amenadiel’s magic, Asmodeous is able to manifest emotions into the physical realm. However, the two differ in that Amenadiel can only manifest his own emotions, while Asmodeous can only manifest others’.

☆ Not to mention, while Amenadiel’s magic functions to safely extract his own emotions, Asmodeous’ magic has no such restraint for his victims; his magic forcibly rips the emotion from their body, causing an extremely imbalanced emotional state within their mind. Typically, the victim will often faint from shock when exposed to Asmodeous’ magic because of this. If they do not faint, then they are often paralyzed by their jumbling thoughts working to fill the void left by Asmodeous’ magic.

☆ Once the emotion is manifested, Asmodeous does not have much control over it as well. Once created, they basically have a mind of their own driven by that single emotion that they were created from. Though, Asmodeous often gets around this by using his words to trick his emotion creatures into doing what he wants; such as telling a greed creature that his enemy has what the creature desires.

☆ In regards to the emotional manifestations, Asmodeous can basically only give them life, and then take it. With a snap of his fingers, he allows the emotion to dissipate and slowly return to the owner (if he didn’t already kill the owner during the process).

☆ One of Asmodeous’ strongest personality traits is his sadism. He finds great amusement in the suffering of others, and often goes out of his way to view it. He’s extremely impulsive, often acting moment to moment instead of thinking about the consequences of his actions. Often, Devoid cleans up his messes so he does as he pleases.

☆ Despite being impulsive, Asmodeous is rather intelligent. He’s able to manipulate others to get what he wants, and uses his words to push every button he can find. It’s just too bad he doesn’t use his intelligence to think ahead for once. In summary, he’s self-absorbed.

☆ Because of his sadism, he’s unable to connect with others well unless they are basically mentally unstable too. His want for suffering is stronger than any other emotion he feels. Though strangely, Amenadiel is the only one who’s suffering he’s never sought after... maybe because he didn’t need to do anything to witness it.
