maki is a very shy, quiet boy. he's pretty much a hikkikomori and doesn't ever leave his apartment if he can help it. he's very nervous most of the time about basically everything. it makes him very sweaty, which makes him more nervous, which in turn makes him sweat more. he's really sweaty all the time. he's self conscious about it. and a lot of other things. he doesn't have much confidence at all, and pretty low self esteem. he's definitely got some depression/anxiety issues. he's too nervous to talk to most people, and has a big fear of being judged. he's very lonely and pretty sexually frustrated as well. he just wants a bf or gf please!

maki works as a freelance programmer, which helps ensure that he never has to leave his apartment. he's good at it and very smart in general, so he makes fairly decent money. enough for him to get by and to buy all his anime merch, at least. his room is full of stuffed animals, anime prints on his wall, and (sometimes horny) anime figurines. he's a big fan of an anime/manga series about a sexy dimension-hopping demon prince dainty. he's in love with the protagonist and has tons of merch of him. but one day.. suddenly..... that demon prince (hakurou) happens to find his way into the real world! maki just so happened to be out because a restaurant messed up his food order and.. he felt confident enough to go out that day. he thinks hakurou's a cosplayer at first (and a really sexy one at that), but notices he looks really confused. so he decides to go interact with a human being for the first time in forever and lo and behold it's the real deal! he's not super convinced at first but he offers for hakurou to come chill at his apartment so he doesn't have to be lost in the city. hakurou ends up living there and they fall in love and live happily ever after. the end!!!
