Attina's Comments

Question: What is her greatest fear? Attina's greatest fear would have to be being alone. Ever since she was little she would hate to be alone in her room, a few hours later her mother Queen Narista would find her in a corner crying. Queen Narista & Attina would sit in her room for hours and talk, Attina was always scared that her family would accidentally leave her behind. As Attina got older everything changed, her best friend died and her heart couldn't take it. She soon got sicker and sicker as the years went by, she rarely left her room anymore, and her frail body refused to work for her. But her mother was still there each night reading to Attina and listing to her talk about her worries and her fears. One afternoon as her mother went out to get food, Attina swam out her bedroom window. As she breathed in the fresh sea water her tail swished with delight. Her laughter filled the sea as she saw a dolphin and a fish playing with one another. She hadn't had this much fun since Amelia passed. Attina's eyes began to leak a strange glowing substance. At first, Attina didn't know what to do with the weird glowing goo. Soon she laughed at the idea of the glowing goo lighting up her tail and that lifted her spirits immediately. Wip~

I think her greatest fear is the dark depths. The very thought of them terrifies her utterly. Staying away from them and closer to the shallows than other merfolk approve of. The reason for this nearly crippling fear stems from an adventure when she was a child. A foolish dare started the adventure, when one of her friends dared her to not only go close to the depths but into them for at least an hour. Unfortunately it was already near dark, and before the time was up it was fully dark. Causing her to get thoroughly lost, seeking light she found instead a giant lantern fish who very nearly got to eat her. Saved at the last minute by her father, who was injured when he was bitten by the large fish. Ever since that day she's been terrified of the depths and the dark add well.

Congratulations on getting Attina! I will be transferring her over soon, I love the idea of her fear being the dark depths and I can't wait to see what you decide to do with her! c:
