Characteristics:
Apri is a very sassy Pokemon who doesn't like it if things don't go her way. She is competitive and always up for a battle, very bloodthirsty when it comes to dragons.
As an Eevee she was hatched from an egg in Turffield. She was trained by an unknown Trainer for a while, but he neglected her and the rest of the team didn't take her seriously. She was supposed to be a support in battles but Apri didn't want to be, which led to her getting punished as well. Fox saw this and couldn't let that guy keep her, so he challenged him to a battle, and if he won he was able to take the Eevee with him. And he won.
Fox spoils her to bits, which is probably why she's so sassy nowadays. Even though she has always been grateful to Fox for adopting her. She is very attached to him and always checks up on his mood with her feelers.
She has a close bond with her Teammates, though she sees Joker like a brother and they spend a lot of time toghether. She loves being in the spotlight.
During a seemingly hopeless battle with a Mewtwo (Karma) Apri was determined to protect her fainted friends, evolved and fought the Pokemon by herself. Her adrenaline kept her conscious but in the end she collapsed. Fox shielded her with his body from one last shadow ball. Her cries and desperate attempts to then help save him pushed Karma to heal his and the teams wounds. So yeah thanks Apri.
When the team returned from Kanto, Zen, Sapphires Lucario, and Apri started getting closer and gained feelings for one another. It took them a while to confess though. After evolving, her ability really started taking effect and she started gaining the attention from other Pokémon. Apri does like and appreciate most compliments, but people who first run into her often misjudge her based on her looks.
Later on in the gym challenge and later on as Galar Champion she has the reputation of the ''Dragon Slayer'' and any Trainer who battles with a dragon type is considered a brave moron. People and Pokemon who never saw her before or don't believe her reputation is justified think she's too delicate to be a good battler. She's a Sylveon, how dangerous can it really be?
