Hilde

Hilde Keyclaw is a female cat and the leader of an organized group named The Claws Clan. Like many of her clanmates, she is prideful and extremely aggressive, garnering respect from others due to her physical strength and independence. She also resembles Founder Claw through her yellow eyes and skill of fortitude.

Several years prior to the beginning of Somniares, Hilde defeated and exiled the former Claws figurehead, Vilja, in a ritual duel, subsequently taking her place as leader. She would be targeted by Vilja's family and supporters as a result, her greatest enemy being the former leader's husband, Radames. However, Hilde would dodge all of Radames's attempts to ruin her public image thanks to the help of her adoptive daughter, Eventide, who she discovers is able to "read minds", although neither of them fully understand the mechanics of this ability. Hilde would intimidate and exploit Eventide for many years due to this.
