Design Notes
- Jia-ni's left eye is yellow and her right eye is red, but the right eye is almost covered.
- The lantern cookie is only on her left ear.
- She typically wears her hair in one giant braid, but occasionally will separate it into two smaller ones.
- You can draw her in any outfit as long as it is traditional Asian inspired.
- She is 5'3" tall.
Jia-ni is a small, gentle bean who is quite the tea enthusiast.
Ni-ni is a quiet girl who usually keeps to herself. However, with the right people, she sheds her shell and becomes the funniest one in the group. Jia-ni always knows a good joke for any situation and is naturally very funny when she isn't held down by her shyness. She is sweet, genuine, loyal, silly and caring. She prefers the library to a party and tends to migrate towards others who feel the same way... but that doesn't mean she avoids parties at all costs.
She has a secret "sneaky streak" as Ai Mai calls it, where, when confident enough, Jia-ni can get into a bit of trouble. Her harmless jokes become little pranks and she takes full advantage of the fact that her brother cannot tell her no. It's all in good fun and she means no true harm, but the smol bean can be quite the little stinker if she so desires!

- Jia-ni and Ai Mai's father was a Daeles and their mother, a Furotomo. However, neither of the children were lucky enough to gain any crossbreed traits, so many doubt the validity of their siblinghood.
- She has a thing against wearing shoes, but wears them outside anyway because of society. Inside her home, however, she is ALWAYS barefoot.
- She still plays with (and always will play with) dolls and is not ashamed of it.
