Damballa enjoys travelling and exploring everything on Ibea, from the highest mountains to the deepest rivers, never seeming to get tired and enjoying every sight. A white snake is always coiled around him, which some claim to be an ancient spirit whispering to him. The hob is very kind, calm and patient and radiates an aura of peace wherever he goes. Strangely enough, he never talks and it's not clear whether he can't or just doesn't want to, yet he often hisses instead. Furthermore, he does not care much about the trivial problems of other Salikos and keeps mostly to himself.
