Completely cut off from his family, Kingsley has been forced to make some hard choices in his life. He's not entirely the man he wanted to be but he's getting by and he's helping his friends at the same time. He’s hit a few other bumps in his life that have caused him to take more responsibility than he was ready for, but he knows he'll get through it. He is passionate about the people he loves in his life, he enjoys getting close to them in platonic and intimate ways and is comfortable where he is. All he cares about is staying away from the people that raised him and hoping they don't find out about his own daughter. He does express concern for his younger brother who he feels bad for practically abandoning, he still gets to see him whenever he gets arrested due to the fact he's an angel but his brother is never happy to see him nor indulge him in small talk.

Born to Monstrosity’s worst kept secret, the demon Beelzebub and his wife Lilith. Kingsley's birth was accidental and his parents were not ready nor skilled enough to raise a child. He was always in the background practically hidden away from the outside world as they didn't want the fact they had an infant son to get in the way of their work. Beelzebub was the head of a crime syndicate and Lilith was ironically an Angel who would ignore his wrongdoings. Kingsley practically raised himself, once his parents were able to teach him the basics of walking and talking he had to figure everything out for himself. He never really saw his parents as his parents, just two adults that he happened to live with. Kingsley would find comfort in reading, spending hours going through books he had retrieved from the library, he knew what a picture perfect family was supposed to look like and at a young age had accepted that he would never have one. During his outings to the library he would meet another monster there by the name of Maxwell who dreamed of becoming the next big thing that Monstrosity had ever seen hoping to become a famous magician. He and Kingsley would become friends, Maxwell provided him with company and a chance to feel like a normal kid.

Just because his parents were bad people didn't mean he had to be one, so he went out of his way to make sure that he would be a good person, always trying to be open and honest and vowing to never steal or even curse. Like most kids, he aspired to be the most pure hearted person that everybody liked. Of course, then his brother came along, Michelangelo. Kingsley had the misfortune of being born a mongrel, a mixture of a demon and an angel. Mongrels are typically frowned upon in society as demons are the pinnacle of evil while angels are the pinnacle of ‘goodness’ and the two should never cross paths. His little brother on the other hand was born an Angel, a mysterious yet suspicious miracle of nature. Michelangelo's existence would really put Kingsley's patience to the test, His parents doting over the fact that they had an angel son that they could raise and be proud of. Mikey would get everything Kingsley never had while he was brushed off as they did their best to keep him in the shadows. It would cause Kingsley to become somewhat resentful towards his little brother.

He would prove to be a bit of a bully for his brother, often trying to attack him in his insecurities when he could, Mikey was a pushover and a Mama's boy, but Mikey was quick to catch on to Kingsley's envy. Kingsley was too young to really notice how his mother was raising Mikey to be the perfect obedient soldier, nor did he really care at the time. The idea of him being the perfect citizen that could do no wrong was quickly diminishing as his frustrations would cause him to lash out more frequently. It was depressing seeing what your life could be like if the same people that neglected you just decided that you were worthy of their love. Beelzebub was often unreasonably harsh with Kingsley, and in an attempt to try and get some respect from his parents, he would agree to work for Beelzebub when he was a teenager. Beelzebub would want to teach him how to be effective at extortion, giving his son examples of how to force people to do what he wants. Conflicted but longing for approval, Kingsley would do as commanded.

However even when he did when his father wanted him to he still didn't get what he desired, he was simply treated differently than Mikey and always will be, it didn't matter who he hurt for his dad, how obedient he was for his mom or what he tried to accomplish in his own time. He really lost himself in trying to appease the people that didn't care for him, becoming the one thing he didn't want to be, which was a bitter, angry, person.

Whenever Kingsley turned 18, everything would change. He would get into an argument with his father whenever he gave him a job that would require him to kill somebody. Kingsley did not know who the target was, they were a stranger to him but it didn't matter. He would rough people up for Beelzebub but he would never take a life. Beelzebub insisted that if he did this job for him then he would make him a lieutenant. After some debate, Kingsley would come to a realization on who this man was. He always had suspicions but would never dare to talk about them until today. He questioned if this man was Michelangelo's real father as Mikey was a spitting image of him. Beelzebub would deny this notion, he would begin to get aggressive with Kingsley and Kingsley would turn the situation around telling Beelzebub that he was nothing more than a bitter jealous old man whose entire relationship was a sham and nothing more than a power grab for both Lilth and Beelzebub, evident by the fact that Lilith clearly didn't love Beelzebub as much as he thought if she had secret lovers behind his back.

Beelzebub would blame Kingsley for the state of their relationship, he's a stain on their reputation, he was an abomination created by the two of them by accident and if he really wanted to be a successful and welcomed member of the family, if he really wanted the respect of his father, then he would do this job, but Kingsley would continue to refuse, he was curious if Mikey knew who his real dad was. This would cause Beelzebub to get furious, having Kingsley openly disrespect and question him this way was to spit in his face. He would get violent with Kingsley and Kingsley would react in self-defense, managing to strike his father in the head with a stone bust, causing his horn to break off. Michelangelo would walk in on the carnage and would end up arresting Kingsley for assault.

Kingsley would be dragged off to prison but his mother would pull some strings and have him released, dropping all the charges against him. Kingsley believes Michelangelo had something to do with this as his parents would be happy enough with him tucked out of the way of the public eye for good. Lilith would explain to Kingsley that he was to leave the house, since he was an adult now he should be capable of looking after himself, he was to distance his name from their family. Kingsley would insult the family name, calling them a joke, Beelzebub was nothing more than an insecure old man and Lilith was a manipulative narcissist that only cared about herself, they strive to appear perfect to cover up their flaws, and he was just one of those many flaws they wanted to hide. He agreed to leave their lives for good.

Bachelor Life

Kingsley would find Maxwell and stay with him, Maxwell also recently being disowned by his family. They decided to stick together for a while in an attempt to get themselves set up, Kingsley would help Maxwell find places to perform his magic shows, the shows being cover ups for scams and cons where they would steal from people. They weren't proud of the people they had to be in order to survive, but they were both used to this by now, hopes of being good men were long dead. Maxwell and Kingsley would keep each other in check, Kingsley would do his best to try and get himself a proper job and Maxwell desperately wanted to get to the point where he didn't have to rely on stealing and could simply just enjoy performing. The cons wouldn't always go off without a hitch and occasionally they would find themselves being arrested, this would prove to be the only way Kingsley would see his brother from time to time as he was no stranger to being thrown behind bars by him. Michelangelo was clearly still sour about everything that happened, convinced that Kingsly is just an awful person. Kingsley feels sorry for Mike, but there's nothing he can do for him as he's the last person in Monstrosity that he would listen to.

Eventually, for community service, Kingsley would find himself working in the library that he practically grew up in. The owner of said library, Julius Whitlock, would recognize Kingsley and take an interest in him. He would offer Kingsley a permanent position and Kingsley was more than eager to accept. Now that he was able to have a basic flow of income, he would do what any young adult would do with spending money and get reckless. He would go out and drink, meeting with people and spending nights with strangers, it would cause a small rift between him and Maxwell for some time as he felt as if he couldn't depend on Kingsley. Maxwell and him would split for a while, going their separate ways.

Kingsley's nights of debauchery would hit him hard one day when a woman he had spent the night with told him that she was pregnant with his kid. The two had no interest in getting in a relationship with each other, and the idea of becoming a father was terrifying to Kingsley. He wanted nothing to do with the kid but didn't want to leave Florence, the mom, alone with it. He agreed to co-parent with her but struggled with a lot of anxiety in the days leading up to the birth of his daughter Courtney. He would try to do only the bare minimum when it came to caring for her, agreeing to take her on the weekends. However, having a daughter would help him put his life back on track, he didn't want her to view him the same way he viewed his own Dad, so while he did his best to keep his distance he would also do his best to make sure she knew he didn't hate her and wasn't ashamed of her.

Kingsley decided that he was no longer going to hurt people and would do all he could to help everyone that needed him. Over the years he would begin to get more comfortable with helping Florence look after Courtney, he would even reunite with Maxwell and apologize for his behavior, rekindling his friendship with him. Maxwell was still in a tight spot so he offered to help him where he could but wouldn't take part in his shows as he didn't want to steal from anybody anymore, he would even offer Maxwell shelter in the library when he needed it. Kingsley would continue his active nightlife but nowhere near the extent that used to be, he was still open to meeting people and getting close with them but was more cautious than ever before. Through his nights of befriending strangers he would meet Aristotle and Marshall, a depressed office worker and shameless street worker who would swiftly become some of his closest friends.

Kingsley became a much happier man, closer to who he wanted to be as a child. All he had to do was stop trying to appease people that had no interest in him. He had a large social circle and support group. While Florence's partners never really seem to approve of Kingsley, it never bothered him and he kept his focus on his daughter. Kingsley would even gain a roommate at some point, a frightened fairy called Moira got lost and found her way into his room. She was clearly running away from something so Kingsley offered to help her out by letting her get her bearings and get on her feet and decide what she wanted to do. She decided she just wanted to stay with him. Kingsley wants to find a way to help Michelangelo, but he is still scared of his parents at the end of the day. It frustrates him that he's able to help everybody else he comes across except his own brother.

He's uh... he sure is something. He's tried to stab Kingsley more than a few times. Max likes him, so Kingsley will be nice to him, even if he's a little afraid of him.

These two are very close, Marshall can often be found with him most nights. Most people think they're dating, but they're just good friends.

He's met him a few times since leaving the family. Mostly cause he's with the law enforcement of Monstrosity. He really regrets how he treated him growing up. Wishes he could be there for him, but he burned that bridge himself.

He rarley sees him, that's a good thing. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't afraid of him.
